This is a request for my Mom who is bedridden, paralyzed on left side from multiple cerebral strokes and cannot drink fluids orally because of a fistula in the trachea that doctors say won't ever heal and can cause aspiration with fluids going into the lungs. All fluids and medicines are administered by feeding tube. The doctor and physiotherapists said she would not be functional and always be dependent and not be able to walk without support. We have been told that we have lost time in bad physiotherapy and it will be very difficult to get back any movement in her paralyzed side. People around us also paint a depressing picture and suggest she will not recover. She is depressed as she is able to understand her own limitations and is getting frustrated with her dependent condition. Her short term memory is also getting confused and mixed up. Please pray for her healing so that she can receive the right medical care, right and appropriate physiotherapy from capable physiotherapists, right capable home caregivers who can maintain a clean and hygienic environment and actually behave like a human being with my Mom ( I am unable to find the right caregivers for my Mom. They are unhygienic resulting in my Mom catching infections frequently. They also come and disappear as they don't want to do any work required for a bedridden patient like her and are inattentive and sometimes nasty to my Mom) to help her medically, physically and emotionally so that she can recover and heal fully mentally, physically and spiritually from all her ailments and be able to lead a fully functional and independent life. i also need prayers so that I can help her in every way for her complete recovery in the best way.
