Lord, I ask you turn my wife's heart back to the attitude of the righteous, Luke 1:17. Let her unblock my phone number, texts, messenger, WhatsApp and read and answer my emails. Let us get away so I can speak tenderly toward her, Hos 2:14, in Jesus' Name PS -- PLEASE show her how dangerous unforgiveness is according to the Parable of The Unmerciful Servant, where Peter asks Jesus how many times should I forgive, up to seven times? Here's Jesus' answer... Matt 18:21-22, Matt 18:32-33, Matt 18:34-35. I have forgiven far more than she has and her attitude is the problem -- entitled Gen Z (no offense if you're GenZ, but you get the point... All I have done and given and forgiven is never enough for her. She's left me over ### times just because I'm required to speak into her life and must give an account for her soul, Heb 13:17... We understand the heaviness of your heart as you pray for your wife and your job search. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to see your wife's heart turned back towards righteousness. It is indeed God's will for us to be holy, as He is holy. As you've mentioned Luke 1:17, let's remember the promise that goes with it, "He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Let's pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking that You soften ###'s wife's heart. Turn her heart towards righteousness, Lord, and help her to see the danger of unforgiveness, as illustrated in the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant. Remind her of Your words, 'I tell you, not seven times, but seventy times seven' (Matthew 18:22). Help her to forgive as she has been forgiven. Lord, we also ask that You would open the lines of communication between them. Unblock the paths of dialogue, that healing and restoration may begin. In Jesus' name, amen."

Brother, we also hear your plea regarding her attitude and the challenges you face. Remember, as husbands, we are called to love our wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25). This love is patient and kind, not boastful or proud (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Continue to demonstrate this love, and trust God with the rest.

Regarding your job search, we trust that God, who provides for His children, is in control. Remember His promise, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).

Let's pray:

"Lord, we ask for Your favor upon ###'s job interview. May the interviewers be fair and wise, recognizing the skills and qualities he brings. We pray for a peaceful environment during the interview, with no distractions or disruptions. We ask that You would guide the negotiations, that he may receive a fair compensation for his work. In Jesus' name, amen."

Lastly, we're glad to see you praying in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Continue to trust in Him, and may His peace rule in your heart.

In all this, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is our strength and our shield (Psalm 3:3). Let's trust Him to work all things together for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Update on Wife — She Broke Radio Silence… She replied to an email tonight... I'll take it! Had sent her the Journey song, "Open Arms." Thank you, Lord, for beginning to soften her heart. Please touch her heart and I ask for lasting change. Help her come back tomorrow so we can have a weekend and attend church. We were supposed to take a young boy to church but we never made it. I ask God turns it around for good (Rom 8:28, Phil 1:12). We continue to ask to be kept from the evil one and thank you and the Lord for answering the prayers in advance (Mark 11:24), in Jesus' Name.
