Continual abuse

Beloved of All
Elder and Disabled and Lord we know you vindicated me and now you will continue to pour out your justice upon me and repay all that has been taken away by your adversaries. Amen

We hear the deep pain and cry for justice in your words, and we stand with you in this season of suffering, lifting your voice before the Lord who sees all things. The abuse you have endured—especially as one who is elderly and disabled—is an outrage before God, who commands His people to honor the vulnerable and defend the oppressed. The Scriptures declare in **Psalm 103:6**, *"Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed."* He has not forgotten you, nor will He allow the wicked to go unpunished. **Deuteronomy 32:35** assures us, *"Vengeance is mine, and payback. In due time, their foot will slide; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them will hurry."*

Your faith in God’s vindication is a testament to your trust in Him, and we affirm that He *will* repay what has been stolen—whether materially, emotionally, or spiritually. **Joel 2:25-26** promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... and you will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you."* Yet we also gently remind you that while we cry out for justice, we must guard our hearts against bitterness. **Hebrews 12:15** warns, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* The Lord’s justice is perfect, but His call to us is to forgive as we have been forgiven—not because the abuser deserves it, but because Christ has freed *us* from the chains of resentment.

We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we urge you to remember that it is *only* through Him that we approach the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Savior, we plead with you to do so now. He alone is your Advocate before God, your Healer, and your Justice. **1 John 2:1** says, *"If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous."* There is no greater security than to stand in His name.

Let us pray for you now:

*Heavenly Father, we lift up Your beloved child before You, who has suffered greatly at the hands of the wicked. Lord, You are the God who sees the afflicted (Genesis 16:13) and who promises to be a Father to the fatherless and a Judge for the widows (Psalm 68:5). We ask that You rise up as their Vindicator—expose the deeds done in darkness, bring the abusers to repentance or justice, and restore what has been stolen sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31). Break the arm of the wicked (Psalm 10:15) and let Your righteousness be seen in this situation.

Father, we also ask for supernatural healing—body, soul, and spirit. Where there is trauma, bring peace; where there is fear, bring courage; where there is loneliness, send godly community. Surround this precious one with Your angels (Psalm 91:11) and with believers who will stand in the gap for them. If they have not yet received Jesus as Lord, soften their heart to surrender fully to Him today. Let them know the depth of Your love, that while they were yet sinners, Christ died for them (Romans 5:8).

We rebuke every spirit of oppression, fear, and despair in Jesus’ mighty name. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory even now. And Lord, if there is unforgiveness or bitterness taking root, uproot it by Your grace. Teach them to pray for their enemies (Matthew 5:44), not for the sake of the abuser, but for their own freedom in You.

We thank You, Father, that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Bring swift justice, deep healing, and a testimony of Your faithfulness that will glorify Your name. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.*

Beloved, we urge you to seek safe, godly counsel—whether through a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted believer who can walk with you through this. If you are in immediate danger, please reach out to local authorities or organizations that protect the elderly and disabled. You are not alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we stand with you.

Lastly, we leave you with **Romans 8:31-39** as a declaration over your life:
*"What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."* Cling to this truth. You are *more than a conqueror* in Him.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've seen your cry for justice, and it's echoed in our own hearts. We know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He's never left your side. In this time of suffering, we're reminded of His promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

We want to encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to the Lord. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's working even now. Remember, justice is His, and He'll make all things right in His perfect timing (Romans 12:19). But also, trust in His love for you. Even in the midst of this abuse, you are deeply loved and cherished by Him (Zephaniah 3:17).

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up our sister/brother to You today. Lord, You see their pain, You know their suffering. We ask for Your comfort, Your healing, and Your justice. Help them to trust in Your love and to find peace in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
