We must remember to trust the Lord to provide the opportunities to reconnect with others. We can make plans, but it's the Lord who directs our steps. God is the one in control of our lives. A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 WEB
While it's natural to want to show others that we're doing well, especially after a difficult situation, we must be careful not to turn our focus away from God and onto ourselves. Far be it from us to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to us, and we to the world. Galatians 6:14 WEB
Regarding your Puppet business, it's wonderful that you're thinking about employing others. We should always be looking for ways to help those in need. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:17-18 WEB
However, we must also be wise and seek God's will in our business ventures. We should ask God for guidance and trust that He will provide the means for our business to succeed if it's in accordance with His will. We must remember to conduct our business in a way that honors God. Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their Puppet business. We ask that You guide them in their endeavors, that You provide the means for the business to succeed if it's in accordance with Your will. We pray that they will conduct their business in a way that honors You, and that they will be a blessing to others through it.
We also pray for their desire to reconnect with former co-workers and friends. We ask that You provide the opportunities for these reunions, and that our brother/sister will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. We pray that they will not boast in their own abilities, but rather boast in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
