CONSISTENT

There are so many things I adore about God, one being His consistency. Yet, it continues to baffle me how some still feel it’s their place to chasten and torment others; even instructing and influencing others to do the same, oftentimes doing so in God’s name, though their own hands be contaminated with sin. For example, some continue to berate me from the pulpit, under the guise of “testing the spirits.” But, here’s the thing, you cannot test someone else’s spirit, when your own spirit is saturated in sin. So that if Ezekiel 16 is accurate of me, and it is (for those who have ears to hear, I will soon clarify); then also true, of those (authorized or not) whose feet were swift to torment but refuse to restore, is Ezekiel 35:4-6. Amen.

Scripture was given unto ALL to instruct and admonish; not just me.

When I likened my experiences with those of the prophets of old, some went so far as to try and orchestrate the course of my calling. Perhaps they misunderstood, I never said I was a prophet; I have always referred to myself as a “Daughter of Zion,” indwelt with the gifting of prophecy. Yet, even if I had called myself a prophet, I was not theirs to destroy (for did not their ancestors kill the prophets?). Some say I made it all about me; I disagree. BUT GOD has been crystal clear, and very consistent, from the beginning: The minute spiritual and physical hands were lain, to punish me, for man’s own vengeance sake and enjoyment, God made it about me: And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” It doesn’t matter how elevated our position or how large our following, even in the church, we don’t get to decide whom God anoints and/or chooses. My calling was neither to gain man’s approval nor to make him comfortable, in fact it is the exact opposite.

God’s ways are sometimes perplexing; yet, ALWAYS CONSISTENT. I think of how one man’s sin condemned mankind, while another man’s righteousness saved us. The same is true even today. Whether in a family, church, neighborhood, city, or nation; the evil deeds of just one person (especially when tolerated by others), can evoke God’s fury, while the prayers of one righteous person can calm God’s fury: The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. If that be the case, and it is; just think of how much greater God’s response will be to the collective prayers of those who revere Him. But we must first set aside our divisions; for it is written: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind; so also must it be with God’s people in the earth today.

At the onset of this leg of my journey I posted an entry wherein I quoted the following scripture: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous; BUT THE LORD delivers them out of them all.” And, so it has been . . .

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

CONSISTENT!

THANK YOU LORD!!!
