Your request for focus, discipline, consistency and intensity in both physical training and in your walk with the Lord is a good and honest desire, and God is pleased when we want to be faithful in the practical things of life and in seeking Him.
Scripture says that all things were created through Christ and that by Him all things are held together. That means true consistency does not finally come from sheer willpower alone. We live in a world that God has made and that He sustains moment by moment. When you ask for steadiness morning and evening, and whenever you eat or train, you are asking to be held together by the One who alone can hold a life together. Apart from Him we drift, but in Him we can be established and kept steady.
The Bible also says that He knows our frame, that we are but dust. He understands weakness and frailty, and He has made provision to make us strong. That provision is not in the flesh but in His Spirit and in His Word. This is why the principle of sowing and reaping is so important. Whatever a person sows, that he will also reap. If we sow to the flesh, even with good intentions, we reap weariness and corruption. If we sow to the Spirit, we reap life and strength. Every small, faithful choice to open the Bible, to pray, to give thanks before a meal, to train with self control, is a seed sown to the Spirit, and God promises a harvest in due time.
Growth in faith comes together with growth in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The more you know Him through Scripture, the more you will trust Him, and the more that trust will shape your discipline. Reading the Bible morning and evening is not just a task to complete, it is how you come to know the character and promises of the One you are trusting to help you. Prayer in the same rhythm, morning and evening and throughout the day, keeps that relationship alive and keeps your heart turned toward Him rather than toward your own resolve.
So continue to set a simple, sustainable pattern. Keep a regular time to read and pray in the morning and again in the evening, even if it is brief at first, and give thanks and pray whenever you eat or train. Ask the Lord to be your strength in that moment, acknowledging your need and depending on Him to hold you together. Over time, faithfulness in these small sowings will build the consistency and intensity you are seeking, not as a work of the flesh, but as fruit of walking in the Spirit.
I am praying that the Lord will strengthen you, give you a clear mind and a disciplined heart, and help you to be consistent in body and spirit for His glory. May He teach you to lean on His sustaining power each day, to sow daily to the Spirit, and to grow in knowing Christ more deeply as you seek Him morning and evening.
