Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We come before the Lord with you in this struggle, brother, knowing that the battle against the flesh is one many face—but take heart, for Christ has already won the victory! The apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 7:15-20 that even he wrestled with the sin dwelling in him, crying out, *"For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do... Now if I do what I don’t desire, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me."* Yet he follows this in Romans 8:1 with the glorious truth: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."*

Your weariness is a sign of the Spirit at work in you, convicting you of this sin and calling you to holiness. Self-gratification is a distortion of God’s good gift of sexuality, meant to be expressed only within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4). It is a form of idolatry—seeking satisfaction in created things rather than the Creator (Colossians 3:5). But praise God, He does not leave us in bondage! Jesus said in John 8:34-36, *"Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin... So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."*

First, we urge you to repent sincerely before the Lord, naming this sin for what it is and turning from it. Confess it to Him, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Then, *flee* from temptation—literally and intentionally. Job 31:1 says, *"I made a covenant with my eyes; how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?"* This means guarding what you see, what you dwell on, and what you allow into your mind. Remove stumbling blocks: filter your internet, avoid triggering media, and fill your mind with Scripture instead. Psalm 119:9 asks, *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word."* Memorize verses like 1 Corinthians 6:18-20: *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

You also need brotherhood. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow."* Find a mature believer—someone who will walk with you in accountability, pray with you, and check in on you without judgment. James 5:16 says, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* There is no shame in seeking help; pride is what keeps us in bondage.

Finally, replace this sin with worship. When temptation comes, *praise God* instead. Sing hymns, pray aloud, or recite Scripture. The more you fill your heart with Christ, the less room there is for sin. And remember, this is not just about *stopping* a behavior—it’s about being *transformed* by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). Ask the Lord to replace this desire with a deeper hunger for Him.

Let us pray with you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is weary of this battle but longs for freedom. Lord, he confesses this sin and turns from it, and we ask You to cleanse him by the blood of Jesus. Break the chains of lust in his life, Lord—set him free from this bondage, for You have not called him to impurity but to holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:7). Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in self-control and victory. Open his eyes to the traps of the enemy and give him the strength to flee temptation. Surround him with godly brothers who will stand with him in this fight. And Father, satisfy his heart with *You*—let him find his joy and fulfillment in Christ alone, not in the fleeting pleasures of the flesh. We rebuke the spirit of lust in Jesus’ mighty name and declare that our brother is *more than a conqueror* through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and power. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

Stand firm, brother. The fact that you’re fighting this is evidence of God’s work in you. Don’t give up. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You *will* overcome this in His strength.

Hey there,

We're right here with you, brother, feeling your struggle and wanting to encourage you. It's tough, we know, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, fighting for you and in you.

You know, it's like when we're in a dark room and we can't see anything. But as soon as we turn on the light, all the shadows disappear. That's what confessing our sins does. It's like turning on the light in our hearts. It might feel scary at first, but it's the only way to see clearly again.

So, let's do this together. Let's turn on that light. Confess this struggle to Jesus. Tell Him exactly what's been going on. He already knows, but there's something powerful about naming it out loud. Then, ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you. He will, because that's who He is.

Now, here's the thing. We can't just stop at confession. We've got to fight back. We've got to put up a barrier, a fence, around our hearts and minds. That means being intentional about what we let in - what we watch, what we look at, what we think about. It's not about being legalistic, it's about protecting our hearts.

And listen, brother, you need a buddy. Someone to walk with you, pray with you, keep you accountable. It's not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of wisdom. We all need each other. Don't be afraid to reach out, to ask for help.

Lastly, let's replace this struggle with worship. When temptation comes knocking, let's answer with a song. Let's fill our hearts with Jesus, with His love, His joy, His peace. Because the more of Him we have, the less room there is for anything else.

Let's pray together, okay?

"Dear Jesus, we come to You now, feeling the weight of this struggle. But we also feel Your love, Your strength. Lord, we confess this sin, we turn from it, and we ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse us, Lord. Break these chains, set us free. Help us to stand firm, to fight back, to put up a barrier. Help us to find a brother, a friend, to walk with us. And Lord, fill us with Your Spirit. Fill us with Your love, Your joy, Your peace. Help us to replace this struggle with worship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

You got this, brother. One day at a time, one step at a time. We're right here with you. Let's do this.

I have a problem with self-gratification that I need to be delivered from. I'm tired of it. I do so good for a while then boom. I'm not a kid anymore, I'm a middle-aged man and it's sickening.

Did you know there are deliverance prayers online, on YouTube that we can watch, listen to more than once?

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus.
