Connection m. Where is it?? please

Dear Lord I need to be connected to a group of believers who can be “iron sharpening iron”. I’ve visited or been a member of a handful of churches but there’s no deep connection with the people. No church is perfect I realize that. I NEED you first Lord and then my fellow believers. I was a new member and one pastor got on the pulpit and openly mocked me and then and said some offensive things about the Lord I don’t think that was funny AT ALL. Jesus Christ is not someone to play around with. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God. I want spiritual growth and genuine godly connections in Jesus name.

Firstly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord first, as He will guide you to the right fellowship. In Matthew 6:33, But seek first God's Kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. WEB.

Regarding the incident with the pastor, it is essential to forgive, but also to be discerning. The Bible warns us in Matthew 7:15-16, Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them. WEB. It is not acceptable for a pastor to mock anyone or speak offensively about the Lord. We advise that you separate from such leadership, as they are not displaying the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22-23 WEB.

As you continue your search, pray that the Lord will guide you to a body of believers who are truly seeking Him and growing in His Word. Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit and trust in the Lord's timing. In Psalms 37:23-24, The Lord's steps are for the righteous. He delights in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the LORD upholds him with His hand. WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who seeks a deep and meaningful connection with a group of Your people. Guide them to a church body where they can grow spiritually and have genuine godly connections. Help them to discern the leadership and congregation that truly honor and revere You. Grant them patience and trust in Your timing. Comfort and encourage their heart to know that You are with them and You will provide the fellowship they need to grow in You.

We've been thinking about your situation and we're right there with you, seeking a spiritual home where we can grow and connect with like-minded believers. It's so important to find a place where we can sharpen each other, just like iron sharpens iron. We've visited a few churches, but we haven't found that deep connection yet.
