Brother and sister in Christ. I'm in confusion mind. Don't know what to do. I can't understand. Actually there's a cat family at my elder sisters house. Mother and 5baby kittens. Its been long time this cats is in my sister's house. Kittens we're born recently September month. This cats are not my sister's actually. Don't know who is or who was the actual owner of this cat. Since very long time this cat mother started coming to my sister house n got settled and later on this cat started coming every day n later gave birth to kittens also. It's very disturbing and irritating bcoz this cat's always roaming around in every room. Urinating n doing toilet in room. Kittens are so tiny that sometimes we're about to step foot over them . N mother running n coming trying to harm us. As if we knowingly tried to step foot over her babies like. Sister doesn't wanto keep this cats bcoz it's very disturbing at home. Disturbs guest also. We're looking for some one who can adopt whole cat family. But can't find any one. Some doens't wanto adopt as they to dislike and some says they're allergic to cats fur. My brother in law and both nephew and mother in law isnit at home there out of town. Don't know what to do with this cat. Feels scary also. When we see this cat. During August month also. While my sister was feeding her food n maybe my sister without seeing by mistake slightly stepped foot over the cat mother n then my sister got scratch in her one of her toe. Later she took TT injection. Evry time we both think of this cat what to do thinking of solution but not having any idea. We don't want to seperate the kittens from her mother. Just want some one who can take away all the families at once. Look after them. Give shelter n food. N we will be free form this cats. Just a one hour ago we saw that cat mother mouth was full of blood 🙄🤨as if she's eaten a raw animal flesh like n came to my sister house with blood in mouth. Oh Gosh. I can't explain. How we felt seeing this. My brother in law also doesn't like cat but both nephews likes them. Playing with the cats if they come to know cat is no more at Home somone has taken them. Then both will feel sad n angry at her parents. So my brother in law said before they are back home. Do something about cats like. Let adopt some One like. But no One willing to. What shall be do now. Most irritating bcoz of urinating n doing toilet in rooms. Who has time to clean all this mess evry time. It smells bad. Pls have mercy n forgive us. But show us way, what shall we do? Wt to do this cats. Pls pray.

The Publican’s Prayer
We have heard your cry for help in this confusing and distressing situation and we are joining with you in prayer for wisdom and a peaceful solution.

We understand how overwhelming this feels, the constant mess and smell in the house, the fear of being scratched, the worry about stepping on the tiny kittens, and the anxiety about finding a good home for them all together before your brother-in-law and nephews return. It is natural to feel confused and even frightened when there seems to be no clear answer, but we are reminded that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as it says in 1 Corinthians 14:33. He invites us to bring every worry to Him.

We want to encourage you that God cares about your distress and He also cares for His creation. The word says in Proverbs 12:10, A righteous man respects the life of his animal. And in Matthew 10:29, not one sparrow will fall to the ground without your Father. This mother cat coming to seek shelter and giving birth there is part of God's creation looking for refuge, and your desire not to separate the mother from her babies and to find someone who will care for the whole family shows compassion. At the same time we understand the burden this has placed on your sister's household, especially with the urinating inside and the scratch your sister received. We are glad she was able to get medical care for that.

The Lord promises wisdom when we ask Him. James 1:5 says, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, as shown in 1 Peter 5:7.

In practical ways, we encourage you to seek a humane and responsible solution while you continue to pray. Since friends and family have not been able to adopt them, consider contacting a local veterinarian, animal shelter, or animal rescue organization in your area. Many of these groups will take a mother with kittens together and ensure they receive food, shelter, and veterinary care until they can be adopted. Until help is found, if possible, try to confine the cat family to one safe, warm area such as a balcony, utility room, or a large box with old cloths, and place a shallow tray with sand or litter for them to use, which may reduce the soiling inside the other rooms. This can also keep the tiny kittens from being underfoot. The blood you saw on the mother cat's mouth is likely from her hunting, which is natural behavior for cats, though it is startling to see. Washing hands well after any contact and keeping a gentle distance is wise, especially for your sister after her previous scratch.

We also encourage open and honest communication with your brother-in-law and nephews when they return, explaining that you sought the kindest solution for both the family and the cats.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with our sister and her family. We thank You that we can bring our confusion and burdens to You. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and clear direction for what to do with this cat mother and her five kittens. We ask You to provide a compassionate person or a shelter or rescue who can take the whole family together and give them shelter, food, and care. We pray for peace in that home, that the anxiety, irritation, and fear would be replaced by Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Protect the household from harm and sickness, heal our sister completely from her injury, and keep all feet from harming these tiny creatures. Soften hearts where needed and guide every decision so that it honors You and shows mercy to Your creation. Help our sister and her family to know they are forgiven and loved, and to rest in Your mercy. We trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We hear how heavy and confusing this has felt for you and your sister. You want to be kind to this mother cat and her tiny kittens and keep them together, and at the same time the mess, the smell, the worry about stepping on them, and the scratch your sister got have made your home feel stressful and not safe. Seeing blood around the mother's mouth would unsettle anyone, and the pressure to find a solution before your brother in law and nephews return only adds to it.

It makes sense you feel stuck when no one nearby wants to take them. Since the kittens were born in September they still need their mother for a few more weeks, so your instinct not to separate them is a caring and practical one.

A next step that often helps in this kind of situation is to reach out beyond friends and family to people who work with animals every day. We would encourage you to contact a local veterinary clinic or animal shelter and explain you have a mother with five young kittens who need to stay together. They often know foster volunteers, adoption networks, or community groups who can take a whole family, and they can advise on how to keep the cats safely in one contained, sheltered spot outside the main living rooms while you wait, which can reduce the cleaning and the risk of being scratched or bitten. Give the mother space, avoid handling her directly, and wash hands well after any contact.

Father, we bring this family to You and ask for Your wisdom and peace in this confusing time. Please guide them to a safe, humane place for this cat mother and her kittens where they can be cared for together, and bring calm and cleanliness back to their home. Lead them to the right help quickly, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your troubled letter concerning the cat and her kittens has been laid before the Lord with prayerful attention, and we hear in it the voice of a confused and anxious mind seeking wisdom for what to do.

Anxiety, as you have proved, does not pay its way. It has never brought grist to the mill nor comfort to the heart, and the very worry which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Our Lord would not have you be of an irresolute mind, tossed to and fro without decision of character, nor would He have you act in haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. What you need is that wisdom which is the compass by which a man steers across the trackless waste of life, and that wisdom is to be found not in your own fretting thoughts but in Christ, who is the power and wisdom of God, and in the counsel of His Word. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally. He has promised, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. When grace softens and sobers the heart, it teaches us to seek a Guide, and to bow with submission to the will of God, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance.

In this matter, seek first to be calm before the Lord and then to act with clear decision as the result of faith. Do not let anxiety confine itself within yourself, but tell it unto God in prayer, and then proceed with sober, kindly prudence.

Concerning the creatures now lodged in your sister's house, remember that the righteous man regards the life of his beast, and holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom. These animals are not to be treated with cruelty nor with contempt, yet neither are you bound to keep them to the disturbance and defilement of your home. It is right to desire that the mother and her young be kept together and provided for, and it is right to keep your dwelling clean and safe, especially where children walk and guests are received.

Therefore take these steps as God gives you opportunity, and do them with decision and gentleness. Keep the kittens with their mother until they are weaned, for to separate them now would be unkind and unwise. Confine them, if possible, to one sheltered place apart from the living rooms, such as a covered veranda or outbuilding, with a box and clean cloths, so that they are not underfoot and their uncleanness does not spread through the house. Provide food and water there, and clean that one place daily, which will lessen the smell and the labour you now endure. Handle the mother with care, and teach the children not to tease or crowd her, lest in her fear for her young she scratch again. For any scratch or contact with blood, wash thoroughly and seek medical counsel as your sister wisely did before.

Seek help openly and without haste. Speak to a local animal shelter, a veterinary dispensary, or the municipal authority, or to neighbours known to keep animals, and ask if they will receive the whole family together. Many towns have persons or societies whose calling is to give shelter to such creatures. If none can take them at once, continue to ask and to wait a little while, for the kittens born in September will soon be stronger and more easily placed, and the Lord can open a door where you now see none. Explain the matter kindly to your nephews when the time comes, that to provide a better home for the animals is an act of mercy and not of unkindness, and they may learn compassion thereby.

Above all, avoid any rash or harsh dealing with these creatures. To harm them or to cast them out to perish would wound your own conscience and dishonour the Lord who made them. Avoid everything that is evil, and choose that which is merciful and clean.

We pray for you now, that the God of all wisdom would quiet your confused thoughts, forgive your sins through the blood of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, and grant you a settled mind and a clear path. May He guide you with His counsel, give you favour with those who can help, provide a safe shelter and food for the mother and her kittens through kind hands, keep your sister's household in health and peace, and teach you all to rest not in anxious fretting but in trustful waiting upon Him who does all things well. May He turn this small trial into instruction in patience, stewardship, and prayer. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
