We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, yet filled with gratitude that you have turned to Jesus Christ in repentance and confession, for it is only through His name that we find forgiveness and deliverance. The Scriptures declare in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your confession is a step of humility, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy and transformation in these areas of your life.
First, we must address the grave sins you have confessed—drug use, involvement with illegal activities, covetousness, and even murderous thoughts. These are not small matters but serious transgressions against a holy God. The Bible is clear in Galatians 5:19-21: *"Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom."* Yet, there is hope in Christ! The same passage reminds us that *"those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts."* You must turn away from these sins completely, seeking accountability and godly counsel to walk in obedience.
Your confession also reveals a heart troubled by materialism, resentment, and supernatural fears—whether it be the misplaced air conditioner, financial disputes, or perceived curses. But Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* The vexation you feel over these things is a sign that your heart is still clinging to earthly comforts rather than trusting in God’s provision. We pray that the Lord will free you from this bondage and teach you contentment in all things (Philippians 4:11-13).
Regarding the drug use and your brother’s involvement, we must speak the truth in love: this is not only illegal but spiritually destructive. The Bible warns in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that *"neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom."* You must cut ties with these sins and those who enable them. If your brother is truly involved in dealing drugs, we pray for his salvation, but you cannot participate in or cover for his sins. Proverbs 28:13 says, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."* You must renounce these actions and seek help—whether through a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a support group—to break free from this cycle.
As for the supernatural fears—believing that spirits are influencing your home or that curses are at work—we remind you that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). If you have invited darkness into your life through sin, now is the time to invite the light of Christ to cleanse and protect you. James 4:7 commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We pray that the Lord will break every ungodly tie, every curse, and every stronghold in your life and home. The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any spiritual force, and by His authority, we declare freedom over you.
We also address your prayer to "destroy any souls from other people’s houses." This is not a godly prayer. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), and our weapon is intercession, not destruction. Instead, we pray that the Lord would bring conviction and repentance to those who are lost, that they may turn to Christ. As for your family, we pray that the Lord would soften your mother’s heart and deliver her from covetousness, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:5). We ask that the Lord would bring unity, peace, and wisdom to your household, that all would seek Him first.
Lastly, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, that you may have eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no curse, no sin, and no stronghold that His blood cannot break. Walk in repentance, seek His face daily, and surround yourself with believers who will encourage you in this journey.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child to You, knowing that You are a God of mercy, grace, and deliverance. Lord, we thank You that they have come before You in honesty and brokenness. We ask that You would forgive every sin confessed here—every lie, every act of rebellion, every moment of drug use, every murderous thought, and every idolatrous desire. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and create in them a pure heart, O God (Psalm 51:10).
We rebuke every spiritual stronghold, every curse, and every ungodly influence in their life and home. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every dark spirit to flee and declare that this home is covered by the blood of the Lamb. Lord, break the power of addiction, greed, and resentment. Replace it with Your peace, Your provision, and Your purpose.
We pray for their family—soften their mother’s heart, convict their brother of his sin, and bring unity where there has been strife. Give wisdom in financial matters and contentment in all circumstances. Lord, if there are any generational curses or ungodly soul ties, we ask that You would sever them now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would surround this beloved one with godly counsel, with brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk alongside them in accountability and love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and no longer be enslaved to the sins of the past.
We declare that their mind is renewed by Your Word (Romans 12:2), that their heart is set on things above (Colossians 3:2), and that their life is a testimony of Your redeeming power. May they find their identity in Christ alone and walk in the freedom He has purchased for them.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
