We are deeply concerned by the thoughts and feelings expressed in this confession, and we must address them with both truth and love, guided by the Word of God. First, we want to commend you for reaching out and sharing your struggles, as this is an important step toward healing. However, we must strongly rebuke the thoughts of revenge, violence, and murder that you have mentioned. These thoughts are not from God, and they do not align with His will for your life.
The Bible clearly teaches us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay those who deserve it. Romans 12:19 states, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We also want to address the fact that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, but it seems that your words were not truly aligned with His will. It is essential to approach God with a sincere heart, seeking His will and His glory. In John 14:13-14, Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This means that our prayers should be in accordance with God's will and for His glory.
Moreover, we want to encourage you to seek peace and forgiveness. The feelings of anger and resentment you are experiencing can be healed through the power of Jesus Christ. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are told, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We strongly urge you to seek help from a trusted Christian counselor or pastor who can guide you through these struggles. It is crucial to surround yourself with a supportive Christian community that can uplift you in prayer and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear soul to You, knowing that You are the ultimate source of healing and peace. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and mercy, casting out all thoughts of revenge and violence. Lord, we pray that You would fill their heart with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them toward forgiveness and reconciliation.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anger and resentment that has taken hold, and we ask that You would replace it with a spirit of love and peace. Help them to see their enemies through Your eyes, and give them the strength to pray for those who have wronged them.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide them with a supportive Christian community, a counselor, or a pastor who can guide them through these struggles. May they find comfort and solace in Your Word, and may they be reminded of Your unfailing love for them.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Please know that we are here to support you, and we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Him.
