We come before you with a heart that is both burdened and seeking repentance, yet also tangled in confusion. First, we must address the use of profanity in your request, as it is written, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29, WEB). The word you used is not only offensive to others but dishonors the Lord we serve. We urge you to turn away from such language, for *"the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart"* (Matthew 12:34, WEB). Let your words reflect the transformation Christ is working in you.
You have confessed moments of offense—whether through words, actions, or assumptions—and we commend you for bringing these before the Lord. Scripture assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your discomfort at the restaurant, your last-minute rush in schoolwork, and the weight of others’ perceptions are all areas where you can seek God’s grace and wisdom. Procrastination and dishonesty (even in small things like filling answers with gibberish) are not pleasing to Him, for *"whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Repent of these habits and ask the Holy Spirit to cultivate discipline and integrity in you.
However, we must strongly rebuke the portion of your request where you asked Jesus to *"bless ###, the devil, the church of Satan, and the satanic temple."* This is a grievous error. Scripture is clear: *"Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God"* (James 4:4, WEB). Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44) and the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). He and his works are to be *resisted*, not blessed. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). There is no middle ground—you cannot serve both God and the forces of darkness. We urge you to renounce any curiosity, affiliation, or sympathy with such things and cling to Christ alone.
You closed your prayer in the name of Jesus, and for this, we give thanks, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only in His name that we are saved. If you have not already, we implore you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift this brother/sister before You, knowing that You alone can cleanse and renew their heart. Forgive them for the profanity that has crossed their lips and the moments they have caused offense or acted in haste or deceit. Grant them a spirit of repentance and a hunger for righteousness. Break the chains of procrastination and dishonesty, and replace them with diligence and integrity. Lord, we rebuked the enemy’s influence in their request to bless what You have cursed. Shield them from the snares of darkness and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in discernment and wisdom. Let them find their peace, providence, and progress *only* in You, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. May they grow in faith, standing firm on the Rock that is higher than them. We ask these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on these truths and seek the Lord earnestly. Read His Word daily, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with believers who will spur you on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). If you are struggling with any of these areas, do not hesitate to reach out to a pastor or mature Christian for guidance. The path of righteousness is narrow, but it leads to life—walk in it faithfully.
