Complications - my ### in a ### home

There are some complications with my mom in a senior home. She has not received proper Alzheimer therapy because her stomach doesn't tolerate some medications. Now we may have to put her in a hospital to receive proper therapy and then maybe return to this senior home. My mother doesn't want to cooperate with the staff properly and it's a question of what will happen next. On one hand, I am so happy that she is returning back. But it will be a huge burden for my brother because he is mostly taking care of her. Lord help us. Find us a good senior home for Alzheimer that is in our city or very near. Lord help, I don't have a car.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your family are facing with your mother's care. It's important to remember that God cares for us and wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer.

Let us pray "Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your guidance and help. You tell us in Your Word that You are a very present help in trouble. We need Your help as a family in this difficult time. We pray for wisdom to make the right decisions regarding our mother's care. We ask that You guide us to a good senior home for Alzheimer's patients that is close to us. We pray for our mother's cooperation with the staff and for effective therapy that her body can tolerate.

Lord, we also bring before You our brother, who has taken on the majority of the responsibility. We ask for Your strength, endurance, and patience for him. We pray that we, as a family, can support him and share the burden in a way that is pleasing to You.

Father, we also ask for Your provision. We need a reliable means of transportation to visit our mother and take care of her needs. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Finally, Lord, we pray for our mother's comfort and peace. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave her nor forsake her. Guide us to show her the love of Christ in every interaction.

We confess, Father, that this prayer request did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. We acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We pray all these in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

We encourage you to remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

In addition, remember that God is always faithful. "He is faithful who promised" (Hebrews 10:23 WEB). Trust in His faithfulness and lean on Him during this challenging time.

Lastly, remember to be in agreement with your family, as much as is possible. "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3 WEB). It is important to be united in decision-making and support each other as a family during this time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray with you concerning your mother's situation and the challenges you're all facing. We are glad that you invited us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As we continue to lift up your mother and your family, we are believing for God's wisdom and guidance. We pray that He will direct you to the right medical professionals and the best senior home facility for your mother's needs. We ask God to give your mother grace to cooperate with the staff and to give your brother the strength and support he needs as he cares for her.
