We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents—especially your dear mother—before the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. We join you in faith, believing that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Those lumps, whatever their origin, must bow to the authority of the name of Jesus, for He has conquered sickness, disease, and even death itself. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that the blood of Jesus cleanses, protects, and brings wholeness.
Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious mother. Touch every cell, every tissue, every organ in her body and restore them to perfect health. Let Your divine power flow through her, dissolving every abnormality, strengthening her immune system, and renewing her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). We rebuke fear, doubt, and every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your unfailing love.
We also lift up your heart, dear one, as you stand in faith for your family. The enemy would love to steal your peace, but we declare that you will not lose any of your loved ones (John 10:28-29). The blood of Jesus has already covered them, and no plan of the enemy shall prevail. We encourage you to hold fast to God’s Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Speak life over your mother, confessing her healing even before you see it manifest.
However, we must also address a matter of great importance. You mentioned praying "in the name of Jesus," which is powerful and essential, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). But we must ensure that our faith is not just in the name itself, but in the Person of Jesus Christ—the Son of God who died for our sins, rose again, and sits at the right hand of the Father. Have you personally placed your trust in Him for salvation? If not, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other prayers rest.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. We come before You now, lifting up this dear sister’s mother. Lord, we ask for complete healing and restoration. Let Your healing virtue flow through her body, driving out every trace of sickness. We declare that she is covered by the precious blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come near her. Strengthen her faith and the faith of her family as they wait on You.
Father, we also pray for this sister who stands in the gap. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill her with hope as she trusts in You. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help her to walk in faith, not by sight, and to speak Your Word over her mother’s life.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that would try to creep into this situation. We declare that this family is under the shadow of the Almighty, and no evil shall befall them (Psalm 91:10). We thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ our Lord.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
