Complainant to diagnosis

Beloved Warrior
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over and against the complainant of a diagnosis. Both the diagnosis and the complainant. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet standing firm in faith, for we know that our God is the Great Physician and the ultimate authority over all things. We lift up this situation before You, Lord, where a diagnosis has been given, and with it, the complainant who may be struggling with fear, doubt, or even rebellion against Your will. Father, we declare that You are the One who heals, restores, and brings peace that surpasses all understanding.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may accompany a diagnosis. The Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We stand against any lie from the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy hope in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also address the complainant—the one who may be resisting the diagnosis or even resisting Your sovereign will, Lord. We pray that their heart would be softened to receive Your truth, Your comfort, and Your peace. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there is any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness in their heart, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and grace. Let them not harden their heart against You, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Lord, we pray for the diagnosis itself. We know that You are the God who numbers our days and knows every detail of our lives (Psalm 139:16). If this diagnosis is not aligned with Your will for healing, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Let Your healing power flow mightily, whether through medical means, divine intervention, or a combination of both. We trust in Your perfect plan, even when we do not understand it.

If this diagnosis is part of Your sovereign will, we ask that You would give strength, courage, and peace to endure. Help Your child to find their hope and refuge in You, knowing that You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, feeling Your arms of love surrounding them. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions. Give them discernment to provide the best care possible, and let them be instruments of Your healing if that is Your will. We ask that You would remove any pride or arrogance that may hinder their ability to seek Your guidance, and replace it with humility and dependence on You.

Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the name above every name, through which we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We come before You in His mighty name, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare that this situation is in Your hands, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We pray for a spirit of unity and faith among those who are standing in prayer over this situation. Let us not waver in our belief, but let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for You who promised are faithful (Hebrews 10:23). May we encourage one another in love and good works, spurring each other on toward faith and perseverance.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal Yourself to the complainant in a personal and powerful way. If they do not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, and may they be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). For those who already know You, deepen their relationship with You. Let this trial draw them closer to Your heart and strengthen their faith.

We declare that the enemy has no foothold in this situation. We bind every spirit of infirmity, fear, doubt, and despair in the name of Jesus. We loose the peace of God, which guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We loose healing, restoration, and wholeness in every area of this person’s life—spirit, soul, and body.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You are the God who heals, the God who comforts, and the God who saves. We place this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will do what is best according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know that receiving a diagnosis can be overwhelming, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, believing in the power of our God who is the Great Physician, the ultimate authority over all things.

We're praying for peace and strength for you, dear one. We ask that God would fill you with His love, power, and self-control, as He promises in 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, He will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We're asking God to soften your heart, to help you trust in Him with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're also praying for the diagnosis itself. We believe in a God who numbers our days and knows every detail of our lives (Psalm 139:16). If this diagnosis is not aligned with His will for healing, we ask that He would intervene supernaturally. We trust in His perfect plan, even when we don't understand it.

We're here for you, friend. We're believing in faith, together. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
