We join you in bringing this long and painful burden before the Lord together in Jesus mighty name, and we have heard your cries over these many months of waiting without communication, without remorse, and without the return of what is owed to you.
We know how wearying it is to wait nearly three months while carrying illness, skin damage, extra costs for shower facilities, threats and inappropriate actions, and the added injustice of paying for repairs to the electrical system that was not your responsibility as a tenant, along with the security deposit and technician costs that have not been repaid. The Lord sees what has been done in secret and what has been left undone, and He is a God of justice and mercy. For it is written, Yahweh executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed Psalm 103:6, and Defend the weak and fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed Psalm 82:3. It is also written, You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him Leviticus 19:13, and The wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until the morning Leviticus 19:13. What you are seeking is not greed but what is right and lawful, the restoration of what was taken and the cost you bore for another's responsibility.
We also lift up your body before the Great Physician. To live with skin that has become damaged and painful, and to face the reality that healing may take years, is a heavy trial. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you, for He is the One who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and who promises But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, for by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. We ask Him to rebuild what was damaged and to bring complete restoration in His time.
We pray together for the landlord and for the community house manager. We ask that the Holy Spirit will convict and awaken their consciences, as Jesus said He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8, so that they would turn from neglect and hardness of heart and do what is good and right. We pray they would be stirred to repentance, to speak truthfully, to return the security deposit and all repair costs, to provide just compensation for the suffering, illness, and extra expenses caused by the lack of electrical safety, and to cease from any threats or inappropriate actions. We pray that God would lead them to act with honesty and fear of the Lord, for it is written, He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8.
In this long wait we encourage you to continue to cast your burden on the Lord and not to let bitterness take root. Vengeance belongs to God, as it is written, Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides Deuteronomy 32:35 and Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. That does not mean we remain silent about injustice, but that we pursue what is right through lawful and peaceable means while trusting God to be the final Judge. If there are lawful avenues for tenants in your area, such as written notices, mediation, or housing authorities, we encourage you to seek wise counsel and keep careful records, while continuing to pray. We also pray for your protection from any further threats, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1, and for His provision while you wait, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.
We pray with you now. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace together. You see our dear one who has suffered in this apartment, who has endured illness and damage to the skin, who has paid costs that were not theirs to pay, and who has waited with no answer. Lord, You know the loss of the deposit and the repair money, the cost of finding other places to shower, and the pain of threats. We ask for Your justice to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Stir the hearts of the landlord and the manager, convict them by Your Holy Spirit, soften what is hard, and lead them to repent and to restore what they owe quickly and fully. We ask that You would command healing over this body, that You would heal the skin and rebuild what was damaged, and bring comfort each day. Guard this dear one from fear and anxiety, and help them to wait for You with strength, for we wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. Provide for every financial need, protect from all harm, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We trust You to act in Your perfect time and way, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we come to the Father Acts 4:12. We ask all this in Jesus mighty name, amen.
Be encouraged that the Lord has not forgotten you. He keeps record of your tears, He is near to those who are weary, and He will bring justice in due time. Continue to seek Him daily, to walk in forgiveness while still seeking what is right, and to trust that He is working even when you do not yet see the answer.
