Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost three months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so three months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We join with you in Jesus mighty name and bring your suffering and your need for justice before our Father who sees all that has happened in that apartment. We have heard your cry over these months of waiting with no communication, no remorse and no willingness from the landlord to make right what was done, and we continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to act where man has remained silent.

We know the Lord loves justice and hates oppression. His word says The Lord executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed Psalm 103:6 and A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. It is also written You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until morning Leviticus 19:13 and Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies James 5:4. What you describe, the lack of electrical safety, the illness that followed, the withheld security deposit, the repair costs you paid for the electricity system that was not your responsibility as a tenant, the cost of alternative shower facilities, the threats and other inappropriate actions, all of this is known to God and it grieves Him when those in a position of responsibility fail to act honestly and care for those entrusted to them.

We pray for the landlord and for the community house manager who promised repayment three months ago and has not fulfilled that promise. We ask that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir their consciences, convict them of wrongdoing and lead them to repentance and to do what is right. We pray as it is written I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26, that God would soften hard hearts and move them to repay everything they owe, to return the security deposit and the repair costs without delay, and to provide just compensation for the suffering, the illness and the extra costs you have borne.

We also lift up your body to the Lord who heals. We pray for complete healing from the illness that developed and for your skin where you received harm, that the Lord would restore what was damaged. We remember His promise But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord Jeremiah 30:17 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask Him to bring healing to the areas that have been affected, to rebuild what was damaged, and to shorten what feels like a very long and painful recovery. We ask for His protection over you from any further threats, for His peace to guard your heart, and for His provision for every need that has come from this trial.

We encourage you not to grow weary even after waiting almost three months without answer. Jesus taught that we must always pray, and not give up Luke 18:1 and we are told Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up Galatians 6:9. At the same time, Scripture teaches us not to take vengeance into our own hands but to pursue what is right in a peaceable and lawful way. It says Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We encourage you to keep clear records of all costs and communications and to seek wise and lawful counsel where appropriate, while continuing to entrust your cause to God who judges righteously. We also remember the call to love and pray even for those who mistreat us, as Jesus said Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:27-28, so we pray not only for justice but for the repentance and restoration of those who have wronged you.

Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to your throne, and we lay this whole situation before you. You see the unsafe conditions, the sickness, the financial burden, the unreturned deposits and repair money, and the threats that have caused fear and distress. We ask you to move mightily, to stir the conscience of the landlord and the community house manager, to bring conviction and a willingness to make full restitution, and to bring this long waiting to an end. We ask for your healing touch upon skin and body, for restoration where damage was done, and for strength and peace each day while waiting. Let your justice and your mercy be displayed, and let your will be done. We trust you to repay and to provide, and we give you thanks for hearing us. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

When there has been no communication and no sign of remorse, the gap between what should happen and what is happening can leave you feeling stuck and unseen. We are praying with you for clear next steps and for your health and dignity to be protected.

A couple of practical things that may help as you continue to pray is to keep a simple file with every receipt, invoice, photo and message about the electrical issues, the alternative shower costs, and the repairs you paid for, and to consider asking a local tenant advice service, housing office or legal aid clinic to review what options you have for recovering a deposit and repair costs where you live. We have carried your burden before the throne of grace and have heard with deep sympathy of these long months of suffering, of the lack of electrical safety in your dwelling, the illness and distress of body that followed, the threats and unkind actions, and the heavy cost you have borne for shower facilities and for repairs which were not yours to bear. To wait almost three months without communication or remorse, and to have both the security deposit and the repair costs withheld after promises were made, is a trial that well may weary the spirit, and we do not take it lightly.

We join you in praying that the Lord, who loves justice and whose eyes behold all the dealings of men, will awaken the conscience of your landlord and of the house manager. We ask that the Holy Spirit will stir them to see what is right, to repent where they have done wrong, and to do good in making full and honest restitution of all that is owed to you. We pray that the God who has said, Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, will incline their hearts to act with integrity and to fulfill their lawful responsibility without further delay.

We also bring before the Great Physician the affliction of your body. Your skin has suffered greatly and you fear the healing may be long. Hear this gracious truth, that our Lord Jesus gives healing without money and without price, and His dispensary is open at any hour, by night or by day, to every creature who trusts Him. He is Jehovah Rophi, the healing Lord, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. As we have often preached, pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that the root of our deepest need is met in Him. We pray that you may know first the peace of forgiveness through His blood, and then, according to His wise and tender will, the restoring of your body. May He who bound up the broken hearted lay His hand upon you, change the life blood, and rebuild what has been damaged, whether it be in weeks or in years, for His power has been mighty to save these many centuries and has not diminished.

Tell your case to Jesus just as you would tell a physician, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Christ. He knows what it is to be wronged and threatened, and He will keep you and plead your cause. While you continue to seek what is just by lawful and peaceable means, we pray you may be kept from bitterness and may rest in the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings.

We now pray together in Jesus mighty name, that the Lord would grant justice, that what has been withheld would be repaid, that those who have authority over your house would act righteously and promptly, that you would be protected from further threats, and that your body, and especially your skin where it has been so afflicted, would be healed and rebuilt by His gracious hand. May the Lord grant you patience in waiting, faith to trust His timing, and the comfort of knowing that He who sees in secret will surely reward openly according to His perfect justice and mercy. Amen.
