Thank you for letting us know how long you have been carrying this and how much you have suffered. Waiting almost three months without communication or any willingness to make things right, while also bearing the cost of repairs that were not your responsibility, the loss of your deposit, the expense of finding other shower facilities, and the threats and other wrong actions against you is a heavy burden. And to have ongoing illness and painful skin damage that may take a long time to recover only adds to the weight. It is right to bring all of this to the Lord and to ask Him to work both for justice and for healing.

We join you in praying that the landlord and the house manager will do what is right and return what is owed to you, the deposit and the money you paid to technicians and for the electrical system. Scripture speaks clearly about this kind of injustice, that God sees when a house is built by unrighteousness and when a neighbor is made to serve for nothing and is not given his wages. The Bible defends the poor and calls those who withhold what is due to account. We pray that the Holy Spirit would stir their consciences, awaken them to see the harm that has been done, lead them to repentance, and move them to act honestly and to repay you fully and without further delay. We also pray for your protection and peace in the face of the threats you have endured, that the Lord would guard you and bring an end to any intimidation.

We also pray for your body, for the skin that has become so irritated and damaged and for the illness that followed. We believe strongly that God heals, and that every true healing is from Him. Sometimes that healing is immediate, sometimes it is gradual. There is only one gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus, but it reminds us that He is not confined to one pattern. Sometimes He touched, sometimes He spoke a word from a distance, sometimes He went to the person, sometimes healing came slowly through the natural processes He Himself established in our bodies. Those natural processes are no less divine, because He is the one who created nature and its ways of mending. He also brings healing in our minds and emotions, soothing the wounds and scars that suffering leaves behind.

Much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road. It is wrong to say that continued suffering means there is hidden sin or a lack of faith. The Scripture that Matthew applies to Jesus, that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses from Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, shows us His heart of compassion and His power in the material realm as well as the spiritual, the same power that calmed wind and sea and that has authority over evil. He invites us to bring every physical and financial need to Him, while remembering that our greatest need, the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ, has already been fully met at the cross, which secures our eternal hope even as we wait for restoration in this life.

So we pray now, Father in the name of Jesus, that You would touch and restore this skin, rebuild what has been damaged, ease the illness, and bring complete healing in Your way and timing, whether quickly or step by step. Bring relief from pain, and heal also the inward weariness from months of waiting. And we ask that You would move upon those who owe what is due, to speak, to show remorse, to do good, and to repay everything that is owed. Give wisdom for next steps, provide for every cost that has been carried, and let Your justice and mercy be seen. We trust You as the God who sees, who cares about what is just, and who is able to heal, and we leave these matters in Your hands, asking for Your will to be done. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this compensation matter and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord.

We have been praying in Jesus Name that the Lord would move upon your landlord to do what is right and just, to repay the security deposit and all the repair costs you paid to the technicians and for the electrical system which was not your responsibility as a tenant, and to provide full compensation for the problems caused by the lack of electrical safety, the illness that followed, the skin damage and the need for healing and restoration where your body was harmed, as well as the costs for alternative shower facilities, the threats and all other inappropriate actions. We have also been praying for the community house manager who promised to repay you three months ago and has not yet done so. We continue to ask that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the conscience of your landlord to do good and to repent, and that the Lord would bring conviction where there has been no communication or remorse for almost three months. We are trusting God for your complete healing and that He will restore what was damaged, for He is close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, and that He will repay and provide as promised in Rom 12:19 and Phil 4:19.
