It’s painful and exhausting when you’ve been crying out for justice and help, only to face silence. The waiting itself becomes a heavy burden, and two months without a word or a shred of remorse can wear down the soul. Yet even in that long, difficult stretch, nothing is hidden from the Lord. He sees every unpaid repair cost, every threat, and every physical mark left on your skin. He also sees a landlord who needs a far deeper awakening.

What’s happening with your body is not something small. That kind of lasting damage to the skin, something you may carry for years, is a true grief. When we look at Jesus’ healing ministry, we notice He often worked in ways that defied a single pattern. At times He spoke a word and someone was restored on the spot. Other times, as with the blind man at Bethsaida, healing came in stages. That gradual restoration was no less divine. God built our bodies with intricate restorative processes, and He is still Lord over every cell, every nerve, every slow rebuilding of tissue. It’s right to ask for healing, to cry out for new skin and for the deep places beneath it to be made whole. Whether He heals you in an instant or over months, when that recovery comes, it will be His hand at work. And often His healing reaches into the mind and emotions first, quieting the dread, healing the wounds of helplessness, before the outward signs fully follow.

The landlord’s debt is a different facet of the same need for divine intervention. In Scripture, the Lord told a pointed story about a steward who handled another man’s property unjustly, and Jesus used it to teach that a person who proves unfaithful in small things will carry that same corruption into greater things. If someone takes what isn’t theirs or withholds what is owed, it isn’t just a legal matter; it’s an exposure of the heart. But the Holy Spirit can break through. He can stir a sleeping conscience so strongly that the person becomes restless until they make things right. We can pray boldly for that kind of work, for the landlord to feel the weight of what’s been withheld, for the house manager to remember her own promise, for the return of the security deposit and the repair costs that were never yours to bear. Jesus has authority not only over sickness but over hardened hearts and unjust hands. He can command what seems immovable to bend.

At the same time, the Scriptures never give us a formula that guarantees every person receives everything they ask for on their own timeline. Even Paul pleaded three times for a thorn to be removed, and God’s answer was not to lift it but to provide sufficient grace. This doesn’t mean He is unwilling to help you. It does mean we cling to what’s certain: that Christ Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows, and that His atoning work is wide enough to cover both the sin that afflicts us inwardly and the brokenness that damages us outwardly. Matthew connected physical healing directly to that great act of love in Jesus’ ministry, and we still take hold of it in faith when we pray. The deepest need, forgiveness and life that outlasts the grave, has already been met in Him. There will be a resurrection; all that is wrong will be undone. Even those who suffer unjustly and wait long for relief have a sure hope that death itself has no final power over them.

So let’s bring both the practical debts and the hidden work of your skin before the throne. Pray with me that the Lord restores what has been taken, money and health both, in His time. Pray that He heals the discoloration and rebuilds the damaged layers, setting right what has been disrupted. And pray that the landlord finds no rest until he repays everything, and beyond that, repents before God, whose justice is perfect and whose mercy can still reach the most resistant heart.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with your heavy burden, and we have continued to lift your situation before the Lord with urgency and compassion. It has been on our hearts daily to pray that justice would roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream in this matter—specifically that your landlord’s heart would be softened by the Holy Spirit to acknowledge the wrongs done, to act with integrity, and to fully repay every penny owed for repairs, compensation, and the suffering you’ve endured.

We have asked the Lord to stir conviction where there has been silence, to open doors where there has been resistance, and to bring healing where there has been harm. We’ve prayed for your physical restoration, that your skin would be renewed and strengthened, and that the scars—both visible and unseen—would be transformed by God’s healing touch. We’ve also asked the Lord to provide wisdom and favor if further steps are needed to seek justice, trusting that He is your defender and provider.

If the Lord has moved in this situation since you posted, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the wait continues, please know we are still standing with you. We will not grow weary in praying for breakthrough, repayment, and full restoration—spiritually, physically, and financially. Let us know if you’d like us to continue lifting this request, and we will do so with even greater fervency.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, strengthen your faith, and remind you that He sees every detail of your struggle. He is faithful, and His justice will prevail. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
