Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, knowing that God is just and cares deeply about your suffering. The dangers you faced due to the landlord’s negligence, electric shocks, illness, and the physical and emotional toll, are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father. We stand with you, asking the Lord to move mightily in this circumstance.

Father, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus that You would stir the landlord’s conscience. Let Your Holy Spirit convict their heart, leading them to recognize the harm caused and the moral obligation to make restitution. We ask that You soften their heart toward repentance and justice, that they would not only acknowledge their responsibility but also act with integrity to compensate for the suffering endured. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we trust You to bring about what is right. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed." (Psalm 103:6)

We also pray for your healing, body, mind, and spirit. The skin problems and illness you’ve experienced are not trivial, and we ask for Your restoring touch. May the Lord provide wisdom for your medical care and cover the costs of treatment, alternative facilities, and any other needs that have arisen from this ordeal. "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 30:17)

It grieves us that you’ve faced threats and inappropriate actions in addition to the physical dangers. We rebuke in Jesus’ name any spirit of intimidation or injustice working against you. The Lord is your defender, and we pray for His protection over you as you seek resolution. "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." (Psalm 9:9)

We encourage you to continue seeking godly counsel, whether through legal avenues, mediation, or trusted believers who can offer support. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, you will reap if you do not give up. (Galatians 6:9) If the landlord remains unrepentant, we pray that the Lord would expose their actions to those in authority who can hold them accountable. "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light." (Luke 8:17)

Lord, we also lift up the broader issue of justice in housing and landlord-tenant relationships. May Your people be known for fairness, compassion, and integrity in all dealings. Let this situation be a testimony to Your power to bring justice where it is lacking.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is your provider and vindicator. "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the One who hears our cries and acts on behalf of the afflicted. Amen.

We hear how draining this long wait has been, two months with no response, no remorse, while you're still living with the physical and emotional fallout. It's easy to feel stuck, but your persistence in prayer is not wasted. God sees every detail, and he does not overlook injustice.

While we keep praying for the landlord's heart to be stirred, it may also be time to pair your prayers with practical next steps. Have you been able to document everything? Keeping a clear record of the electric shocks, the dates of any medical visits and costs, the threats, and the lack of communication can strengthen your position. We'd gently encourage you to reach out to a tenants' rights organization or a community legal clinic if you haven't already. They can often help you understand what compensation you're rightfully owed and walk you through the process. You don't have to figure this out alone.

Even when the landlord stays silent, you are not powerless. God cares about your suffering, your skin, your whole health, and about justice. We're asking him to give you clear wisdom about when to wait and when to take action, and to provide for every practical need along the way.

Jesus, we bring you this painful situation. You know the physical discomfort and the stress our friend carries. Please stir the landlord's conscience and open a door for honest communication and fair compensation. But in the meantime, guide our friend to the right resources and support. Bring healing to their body, steady their heart, and give them the peace that comes from knowing you are their true advocate. In your name we pray, amen.

Two months of silence from the one who has wronged you, and still no stirring, no remorse, no willingness to make right what has been done. This is a heavy trial, and it would be easy to let the heart grow bitter. Yet consider: the landlord’s conscience, if awakened only by threat or only to escape trouble, would be no true repentance. The repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts gives God glory. A carnal repentance, a mere regret for consequences, is not that holy, heavenly sorrow which flows from a renewed heart. So your prayer must rise higher: not merely that he pay compensation to quiet your suffering, but that the Holy Spirit would grant him repentance unto life, wherein he would own his sin against you and against God, and seek to restore what he has taken.

You ask for justice, and rightly so, for the body racked with illness, the skin plagued, the cost of treatment, the indignity of threats. But let your soul take hold of this: the house in which you dwell has God for its Landlord. The earthly landlord may refuse to answer, but the Great Landlord above sees all. Every lease of earthly comfort holds this clause: that the Owner has at all times the right to enter and to test His own property. What if this silent suffering is His own visitation? Not to drive you to despair, but to lead you to a deeper trust. The goodness of God leads you to repentance, not by the whip, but by the drawing of His patient love. Do not measure His faithfulness by the landlord’s hardness. If you have cried for two months, remember that Christ’s own suffering was not deserved, yet He drank the cup without rebellion. He was perfected through suffering, and so your sorrow, placed in His hands, can chisel away self-reliance and carve a greater dependence on Him.

Look now to yourself, for the trial is also a mirror. Does your own repentance toward God spring from love to Christ, or is it a fleeting sorrow that leaves the sin untouched? True repentance pulls down the old and builds up the new; it lasts and bears fruit. And as you wait, do not let the landlord’s unyielding heart become a stone in your own bosom. Pray still that his conscience be stirred, not to a repentance that needs to be repented of, but to a godly sorrow that makes restitution for the glory of God. If he remains unmoved, yet God is not mocked. What is left unpaid in time will be required in eternity. But for you, the sweetest portion is not the compensation, but the knowledge that you are known and kept by the Landlord who will never cast you out. Go now, and let your prayer be mingled with tears of hope, not of vengeance. Seek the Lord’s own compensation: a fuller sight of Christ, who was made perfect through suffering, and who ever lives to plead your cause.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed for two months, and still the landlord remains silent and unrepentant. Do not be surprised that his conscience sleeps, for sin first suggests it will not be found out, and so men plunge into wickedness without fear. His heart is sick with the fever of greed, and he refuses to call the Physician. But your own conscience, have you examined it?

For the Apostle says, "Our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience." If you have a clear conscience in this matter, having done no wrong, then even in this affliction you have a comfort that no money can buy. Do not let the trial embitter you, for that is exactly what the devil desires. Instead, give thanks in this extremity. I say to you, give thanks!

When you give thanks for your sufferings, you honor God, you shame the devil, and the pain itself is cut short. Do not say, "I have prayed and nothing happens," for the time of deliverance is in God's hand, and He often delays to test and strengthen our faith. The landlord's conscience will either be awakened by the Holy Spirit, or it will be his accuser at the last tribunal. But you, if you maintain a thankful spirit and a pure conscience, will not be overwhelmed.

The affliction itself can become a crown. So continue to ask, yes, but ask with thanksgiving, and let your soul rejoice in doing what is right. For the soul that is bright with gratitude cannot be cast down, even when the body suffers. And remember: the Lord knows your need, and though men may fail to make amends, He will not fail to give you the grace to endure and will, in His time, bring justice.

Do not let this trial become a dead work that defiles you; rather, let it refine you to serve the living God more fully.
