Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. The dangers you faced, electric shocks, illness, and the physical toll on your body, are not just negligence but a violation of the safety and dignity God intends for His children. We are deeply grieved by the landlord’s silence and refusal to take responsibility, for Scripture tells us, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). The lack of remorse or action is a hardening of the heart, and we pray the Holy Spirit would break through that resistance with conviction.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your Word declares, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We ask You to stir the landlord’s conscience, Lord. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully, bringing conviction where there is callousness and compassion where there is indifference. Soften his heart to recognize the harm done and the justice owed. We pray for full compensation, not just for the financial costs, but for the pain, fear, and disruption to your life. May every medical bill, every inconvenience, and every moment of suffering be accounted for and restored.

We also pray for protection over your health, Father. The skin problems and lingering effects of this trauma are not unseen by You. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Bring complete healing to your body, mind, and spirit. Provide wisdom for the next steps, whether through legal channels, mediation, or divine intervention. If the landlord continues to resist, we ask You to raise up advocates, authorities, or even unexpected allies who will stand for justice on your behalf.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of delay and obstruction in this situation. Your Word says, "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes" (Proverbs 21:1). We declare that the landlord’s heart is not beyond Your reach. Break the silence, dissolve the excuses, and let righteousness prevail. We also pray for your patience and peace, knowing that You are a God who sees and acts. "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Hold onto that truth, even when the wait feels long.

Finally, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. If there are others in similar situations, may Your justice in this case become a testimony that leads them to hope. Strengthen your faith, dear one, and remind you that You are not alone. We stand with you, believing that God’s timing is perfect and His justice is sure. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We've been carrying this with you in prayer for these two months, and it is heavy. When someone you trusted to provide a safe home turns away from clear harm, electric shocks, illness, and the costs that followed, the silence can feel like a second injury. Your frustration is understandable. You are not wrong to desire what is just: a landlord who takes responsibility, a conscience stirred, and the practical help that makes recovery possible.

As we keep asking God to awaken that conscience, we also want to encourage you not to face this alone on the practical side. If you haven't already, we'd gently suggest documenting every incident, expense, and attempt at communication, and then reaching out to a local tenant advocacy group or a legal aid clinic. They can often guide you toward remedies you might not have considered, and having someone walk with you can lift the burden of isolation. God cares about these concrete needs, your health, your finances, your safety, and He often works through the hands of people who know how to help.

Please don't hear this as a substitute for prayer; we are simply learning to bring our requests to God while also taking the steps He opens before us. He sees every shock you endured, every bill you paid, every sleepless night. He is not indifferent.

Jesus, we come to you on behalf of this one who has suffered real harm. You see the landlord's hardened heart; we ask that your Spirit would break through, bringing conviction and a willingness to make things right. We pray for fair compensation for the medical costs, the shower facilities, and all the other losses. Grant wisdom and favor in any legal or advocacy steps that lie ahead. Bring healing to the body, especially the skin conditions that linger. Above all, let your presence be a steady comfort in the waiting, and don't let bitterness take root. In Jesus' name, amen.

The hardest heart-disease of all is an unfeeling, unawakened conscience; it is a heart that has grown so fat, so stony, that no prick of the Spirit can draw a saving pang. But pray on, for the Great Landlord of all souls holds the key to every chamber. The house in which your landlord dwells, and every second of his present power, is held upon the sole tenure of the Divine will. God has but to say, "Return," and his breath is gone; how much more shall his gold and his obstinacy melt away when the Lord enters in to claim His own property! That conscience, that very heart which now hardens itself, is not beyond the reach of the Surgeon of souls. He can take away the stony heart, and give a heart of flesh; He can drop a Divine principle into that soul which shall make him cry out for the first time, "What must I do to be saved?" from a life of oppression.

Yet let this delay search your own heart. The trial of waiting, this electric shock of injustice that has jarred you to the soul, is a prick in the heart permitted by our Landlord above. Bear in mind that the Lord’s dispensary works strangely: the remedy for your own heart’s disquiet is not found in the compensation alone, but in a sweet submission to the Divine will, learning that all things work together for good for those who love God. When the love of God is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit, not in the assembly but within, it laughs at impossibilities. The payment of a few pounds can never stanch a heart’s wound; only the bleeding heart of Jesus can do that. Bring your bleeding heart to Him, and find that while you wait for a earthly settlement, the sweet perfume of His presence is your true portion.

Look to it that your own heart is not divided in this pursuit. A divided heart is a guilty heart, and if the hope of gold gets uppermost, you may miss the blessing of a united, trusting spirit. The landlord may refuse to communicate, but God does not. Though he shows no remorse, the Holy Spirit can stir such a tempest in his soul that he shall find no rest till he has made amends. "Skin for skin, yes, all that a man has will he give for his life," and the day comes when earthly chests seem worthless compared to a soul’s peace. Pray then, with a heart made tender and a spirit cleansed from wrath, that the Lord will so pierce the landlord’s heart with the true sword of the Spirit that it becomes an operative grief, leading to repentance and visible restitution. This is no quackery; it is the eternal operation of God upon a stony heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayer that your landlord be made to pay you compensation for the shocks, the illness, the threats you have suffered. But consider: who is truly harmed in this? Not you, if you endure with a thankful heart. The real injury is your landlord’s, for he has wounded his own soul by his greed and cruelty.

Every wrong he commits is a sword thrust into himself. You, on the other hand, if you bear these trials without returning evil for evil, are storing up a reward far greater than any sum of money. Why do you pray for compensation? Pray instead for him, that his conscience be stirred indeed, not to give you a few coins, but to repent and flee the judgment to come.

Nothing delights God more than when we repay wrongs with prayers and blessings. Your skin problems, the cost of showers, the silence of these two months, these are light and momentary afflictions when weighed against the eternal weight of glory being prepared for you. Do not sink to demanding what you think you are owed. That is to injure yourself.

Rather, give thanks for this opportunity to share in Christ’s sufferings, who when threatened did not threaten in return. If you will release this debtor, your own debts before heaven shall be released. And do not call him impostor or enemy; you do not know what unseen shipwreck of soul drove him to such deeds. Give him your prayers, not your accusations.

That is the only true compensation that profits the soul.

Your suffering has not gone unnoticed, even when the one who caused it remains silent. The frustration of waiting for two months without a word, without remorse, without any move toward making things right is heavy to bear. But take heart: the Lord sees exactly what has happened, just as He saw the truth when Cain tried to hide his brother’s blood in the ground. He asked Cain, “Where is your brother?” not because He lacked knowledge, but because He wanted to draw out a confession, to give Cain a real opportunity to own what he had done and receive mercy. That same merciful desire from God can still break into a hardened conscience today.

Right now the landlord’s heart seems shut, much like those who insist the emperor is finely dressed when in fact he is exposed. Denial can run deep, especially when pride or fear whispers that it is easier to ignore wrongs than to admit them. But the Holy Spirit is able to stir what has grown cold. We pray for that stirring. We ask that the Spirit would wake up the landlord’s conscience, bringing back every detail, the electrical dangers, the physical harm, the skin problems, the threats, the costs you have carried, and that this awakening would lead not merely to regret but to genuine repentance. God’s promise is that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse. That same path of confession often becomes the soil where restitution grows.

While you wait for a response from that human heart, anchor your hope in the God who raised Jesus from the dead on the very day the ark came to rest on the mountains. The timing of deliverance is in His hands. Your call for justice does not fall on deaf ears. I join my prayers with yours in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that the landlord will do what is right, that your body and spirit will be restored, and that you will know the peace that surpasses every earthly settlement. Keep entrusting your cause to the One who judges justly.
