Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of injustice. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 22:22-23, which declares, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in this landlord’s heart, stirring his conscience by the power of the Holy Spirit to acknowledge the harm caused and make restitution for the suffering endured.

Heavenly Father, we pray for full compensation, not just for the physical dangers of electrical shocks, but for the illness, medical treatments, skin problems, and the emotional distress caused by threats and inappropriate actions. You command in Leviticus 19:13, "You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning." Lord, let this landlord understand that withholding justice is a form of oppression, and we ask that You would soften his heart to do what is right.

We also lift up the weariness of waiting, Lord. It is written in Psalm 37:7, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." Father, strengthen this dear one with patience and faith, reminding them that You are their Defender. Let them not grow weary in seeking justice, for You are a God who hears the cries of the afflicted.

Lord, if this landlord does not know You, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin and draw him to repentance. Only through the name of Jesus Christ can anyone be saved (Acts 4:12), and we ask that this situation would become an opportunity for Your light to shine in his life. May he come to know the grace and mercy that comes from surrendering to You.

We rebuke any spirit of delay or hardness of heart in this matter, in Jesus’ name. We declare that justice will prevail, that restitution will be made, and that healing, both physically and emotionally, will come. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Father, we ask that You would provide wisdom in how to proceed, whether through legal means or divine intervention. Give clarity, courage, and favor in every step. May this trial ultimately bring glory to Your name, as You turn what was meant for harm into good (Genesis 50:20).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We've been lifting this with you over these weeks, and we can feel how heavy it is to wait without a word, no communication, no remorse, no willingness to make things right. When someone else's neglect causes us real harm, the silence on their end can be its own kind of wound. The electric shocks, the skin problems, the treatments, the scramble for a shower, none of that should have been yours to carry, and we're so sorry you've had to endure it.

In situations like this, it's easy for the injustice itself to start feeling like a part of our identity. But your worth is not measured by how this landlord treats you, and your healing doesn't depend on their admission of wrong. As you wait and pray, we'd gently encourage you to keep anchoring your sense of security in Christ rather than in a resolution, even a just one. That doesn't mean the wrong doesn't matter; it means it doesn't get to define you. If you haven't already, it may also be wise to seek a doctor's ongoing guidance for the skin symptoms and any lingering effects from the shocks, and to keep documenting everything in case legal options open up later.

Let's continue to ask God together, trusting Him with both your body and this situation:

Lord Jesus, You see what has happened here, and You know how hard these weeks of silence have been. We ask You to bring healing to every part of this person's body that has been affected, soothe skin, calm nerves, restore what's been worn down. Stir the landlord's conscience, not with vague discomfort but with true conviction, and move their heart toward what is right. Give wisdom about next steps, and grant steady peace in the waiting. We trust You to make a way, in Your timing and Your way. Amen.

The landlord’s heart sleeps, as once Jonah slumbered in the sides of the ship while the storm raged, a conscience hardened by willful rejection of what is right. Careless souls need to be awakened, and it is no small thing that you have cried out these two months, yet no communication, no remorse, no willingness to make right the wrongs. Sin is the mother of this shameful indifference, and the sword of Divine Justice is already furbished. Yet do not let your own spirit sink in bitterness. Put yourselves into the same posture as your Lord sustained in His agony, commending your cause to Him who judges righteously. There is a Landlord above all earthly landlords, who has at all times the right to enter and leave His own property, and He marks every injury done. A just tenant desires to restore to his landlord his property unhurt, and this man has left upon your frame the trace of injury, electric shocks, skin afflictions, and suffering that speaks louder than any words.

The very leaves of the Tree of Life are healing. The least thing about Christ is healing, and a word of His, recognized as His and coming home to the heart, brings healing to head and heart, conscience and imagination. Your body has borne the scorch of that dangerous current, and your skin cries out for relief; the cost of showers and treatments weighs upon you. Yet see in Jesus the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Trust Him with the foul disease of your frame, and with the touch of His healing finger you will find sustaining grace, if not immediate restoration of all that has been lost. Thrice is he armed that has his conscience clear, and no armor of steel or mail can so well protect a man as to know that before God he has walked in blameless uprightness. You have done right to seek justice, and you continue to do right in bringing it before the throne of grace.

But oh, for that landlord’s conscience to be stirred! May He make you to hear the cock crow this very hour, awakening your slumbering conscience, that inward monitor which tells us that we are never right till we are right with God. Years of resistance make a difficult matter for a man to continue in his evil course, and yet how many dare to carry on against their own conscience and the Holy Spirit! Pray that the Lord would cause him to remember every threat, every inappropriate action, every penny withheld that belongs to another. Loathing thus himself and his sin, may he yet go out to weep bitterly over it. The Spirit can work where words fail; let the velvet be pulled from the mouth of his conscience, and may the arrow of conviction hit deadly home. We will pray together that his heart will no longer make a sound of false peace, but be awakened to the true melody of repentance and restitution, before he must set his house in order and prepare to meet his God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of electric shocks, skin ailments, mounting costs, and a landlord’s silence, and your plea is for compensation and a stirred conscience. Yet consider what true injury is. You say you have suffered, and I do not dismiss bodily pain or financial strain; these are real burdens. But hear carefully: the injury you think you have received from the landlord, if you endure it with patience and without returning evil, is no injury at all. It is a benefit disguised. The one who wrongs another, who neglects safety, who threatens and refuses to make amends, that person pierces his own soul. He walks in perpetual shipwreck, condemned by his own deeds, even if no human court summons him. You, if you hold fast to righteousness without bitterness, stand on safe ground, and all who see your endurance will honor you, while heaven crowns you.

You have prayed for two months and received no communication, no remorse. This silence stings, I know. It is a trial prolonged, and the flesh cries out for justice. But do you not see? The Lord allows this delay not to abandon you but to teach you where true wealth lies. If the landlord’s conscience were stirred and he paid you every penny, what have you gained if your own soul remains chafed and demanding? What if, instead of crying out against him, you cried out against the passions within yourself, the anger, the sense of being owed, the desire to see him punished? Those are the real shocks, the hidden diseases. The body’s ailments have a limit; a soul corroded by resentment knows no rest.

Your request says, “Pray that his conscience is awakened.” Do you pray this so that you may receive money, or so that he may turn from evil and save his soul? If the first, you are still counting injuries as the world counts them, a ledger of debts. But the Christian’s ledger is reversed: to be defrauded is gain if it makes you more like Christ. Did not Paul ask, “Why do ye not rather take wrong?” Not because wrong is a small thing, but because enduring it nobly is a great thing, a participation in the Master’s own patience. So I urge you: redirect your prayer. Ask not first for compensation but for a heart so free it can bless the landlord and mean it. Pray that you may see your suffering as a school of humility, where God himself is your teacher. And yes, it is lawful to ask for bodily needs; entrust those to the Father who knows you need them. But seek first the kingdom, that is, a soul unshaken by injustice, and all these things shall be added in their proper measure.

Do not marvel that your long prayers seem unanswered. The athlete is not crowned while still wrestling. God’s silence is not absence but a testing, a burning away of dross. When you can stand before Him and say, “I have been wronged, yet I accuse no one; I have lost money, yet I hold no debt against my neighbor; my skin bears scars, but my spirit is whole,” then you have received a compensation no landlord can give and no court enforce. Then, even if the money never comes, you have become richer than all who injure you. For the one who has injured you, even without knowing it, has become your benefactor, driving you toward the only prize that matters.

The physical suffering you describe is very real, and I ache that you have endured electric shocks, skin problems, and the mounting costs of treatment and alternative arrangements. Those afflictions are not small in God’s sight. Your body has borne the consequences of another’s neglect, and the injustice of it stings all the more because you have now waited nearly two months with no remorse, no communication, and no willingness to make things right.

When a person stubbornly refuses to retain God in their thinking, their conscience can grow strangely silent. The Bible gives us a sober picture of that condition: professing to be wise, they become fools, and their hearts say in practice that God’s reckoning does not matter. That is the soil where threats and callous indifference grow. The landlord’s silence is not mere forgetfulness; it is a heart that has not yet been awakened. And so we keep praying exactly as you have, that the Holy Spirit would stir what human resolve cannot reach. Repentance is not a human project; it is God who must grant it, and He often works through the persistent prayers of His people.

The early chapters of Genesis show us something vital about the conscience. Before sin entered, there was no shame and no inner voice of good and evil. But once the knowledge of evil came, so did that internal witness. Yet we also see how quickly people try to cover their wrongs with fig leaves of their own making, hiding rather than coming clean. Only God could provide a covering that truly dealt with guilt, garments of skin that required sacrifice. That truth points all the way to Jesus, the sacrifice whose blood alone can cleanse and change a person from the inside. Your landlord needs far more than just a passing twinge of guilt; he needs a genuine work of God that leads to repentance and then to righting what he has done.

Do not assume that these two months of seeming silence mean God is not hearing your requests. His Spirit does not always strive with man indefinitely, but while there is still time not yet reached its limit, mercy is being extended. Your prayers may well be the very means God is using to press on that hardened heart. When the Lord interrogates, it is not because He lacks information, He already knows every detail of your case. He draws things out that we might see Him work. Keep asking that the truth would draw the landlord out of hiding and into honest confession and restitution. That is a prayer God delights to answer, though the timing often stretches our faith.

In the meantime, your own health matters. The skin and the body are fragile in a fallen world, and you have felt that fragility acutely. Yet the same God who clothed the first man and woman in their shame is also the One who tends to your needs. Ask Him for healing and for practical provision. Seek wise medical care, and if avenues for justice are open to you, weigh them with prayerful counsel. You are not required to eat what is set before you without asking questions when injustice is ongoing. Paul could say, “Happy is the one whose heart does not condemn him in what he allows,” precisely because a cleansed conscience walks in both grace and truth.

I will join you in praying in Jesus’ mighty name that this landlord’s conscience is penetrated by the Holy Spirit, that he comes to genuine remorse and acts to compensate you fully, and that your own body and spirit find restoration. Justice deferred is not justice abandoned. The same God who saw the evil in the days of Noah sees this situation, and His purposes are higher than our ability to trace. Trust Him to be your Advocate, and keep your requests before the throne with confidence.
