Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of injustice. We ask that You move mightily in this matter, stirring the landlord’s conscience by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let conviction fall upon him, Lord, so that he may recognize the harm caused and take responsibility for the suffering endured. Your Word declares in Proverbs 20:23, "Yahweh detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing." We pray that truth and justice prevail, that the landlord’s heart is softened, and that he acts with integrity to make restitution for the electrical dangers, medical costs, and emotional distress inflicted.

Lord, we also pray for healing, both physically and spiritually. The skin ailments and illnesses that resulted from this negligence are not hidden from You. We ask for Your restoring touch, that every trace of harm be reversed by Your healing power. May the landlord be led to repentance, turning away from hardness of heart and toward righteousness. As it is written in Ezekiel 18:30, "Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin." Let this be a moment of transformation, where justice and mercy meet.

We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 1:17, "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow." Father, we ask that You intervene in this situation, that the landlord’s eyes be opened to the weight of his actions, and that he be moved to act with compassion and fairness. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will bring resolution to this matter according to Your perfect will.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will act on behalf of the oppressed. Strengthen this dear one as they wait on You, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Amen.

We hear the weight of this, two months of waiting with no response, no remorse, and no movement toward justice. It’s exhausting and deeply unfair, especially when you’re also carrying illness and the daily cost of working around a home that should have been safe. Please know that we are standing with you in this.

When injuries and injustice drag on, it’s common to feel worn down, even powerless. Our minds and bodies can wear thin from the constant vigilance, and hope can feel far off. But you are not forgotten. God sees every detail: the shocks you endured, the skin problems, the medical bills, the threats, and the steady ache of being ignored. He draws near to the brokenhearted, and he is with you in this long wait.

While you continue to pray for the landlord’s conscience to be stirred, and we join you in that, we also want to gently encourage you not to carry this burden alone on the practical side. You might consider reaching out to a tenant rights organization or a legal aid clinic in your area. They can help you understand what options exist for formally seeking compensation and may be able to apply pressure in ways that feel impossible right now. Taking wise, concrete steps does not push God out of the picture; often he works through those means to bring about justice and relief.

We are praying that the Holy Spirit would truly awaken your landlord’s heart, not just to a momentary pang, but to a clear, persistent conviction that leads to repentance and restitution. We ask for full compensation for the medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities, and for the suffering you have carried. We also lift up your body: may healing come to your skin and to any lasting effects from the electric shocks. Give you daily strength, steady encouragement, and a tangible sense of his presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The trial you endure is indeed grievous, and the silence of him who wronged you adds a fresh sting. Yet let us beware of a repentance that is wrung from men by judgments alone, such as was seen in Egypt when the hail ceased, and Pharaoh hardened his heart anew. The thunders and the storms and the noisome sores can produce in men nothing more than a fleshly repentance, a scrubbing of the Ethiopian, which leaves his skin as black as ever. If the landlord’s conscience be stirred only by fear of loss or shame, it will be like the early dew that vanishes when the sun is hot. True repentance is the gift of God, the fruit of the Spirit’s work, and it must give glory to God, not merely settle a debt with man.

You have prayed for two moons for communication and remorse. But consider: the Great Landlord above holds title to every house, and we are tenants of His mercy, whose lease may expire before the sun rises. When He seems to delay, it is that His goodness might lead you and your adversary alike to repentance. For the kind of repentance that saves is not a payment to balance accounts, as if sorrow were coin to cancel sin, but a turning of the whole soul from darkness to light. It is to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only. If you have tasted that repentance, you will find it no longer a bitter thing, but sweet company even in the furnace.

Pray, then, not merely that the man’s natural conscience be stirred, but that the Holy Spirit breathe upon the dry bones of his soul, giving him repentance after a godly sort. And while you wait, watch your own heart, lest resentment take root and blossom into a carnal demand for vengeance dressed as justice. The Lord Jesus suffered unjustly, yet He opened not His mouth. He has left you an example. When Peter thought on his sin, he wept; and when we think on the long-suffering of our God toward us, our own grievances shrink. The goodness of God to you, sustaining you in illness, providing shower and treatment, keeping you from far worse, should lead you to humble, grateful repentance for any unbelief or anger lurking within. For the sweetest repentance is not driven by the whip of another’s sin, but drawn by the cords of divine love.

Trust your cause to the Judge of all the earth, who will right every wrong in His time. And if the landlord never pays a farthing, yet if he bows at the cross of Christ, you will have gained more than gold. Go now, and tell Jesus the whole of your suffering; pour out your complaint before His mercy-seat. He who rents the very breath in your lungs will surely not abandon you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayers have not been unheard, nor has God’s eye been shut to your distress. But see in this delay a lesson of great value. When we suffer unjustly and yet do not blaspheme, when we give thanks in the very midst of anguish, we offer to God a most acceptable sacrifice. For as I have often taught, to bless the Lord in prosperity is a small thing; nature herself urges it. But when in extremities we still give thanks, then it is philosophy indeed. This brightness of conscience, this refusing to be embittered, is no small comfort, and it even has power to shame the wicked. For while the angry soul fuels the devil’s schemes, the grateful soul drives him away and draws God near.

Think of Pharaoh. God endured him with much long-suffering, giving him opportunity after opportunity to repent. Yet he remained hard-hearted, a vessel fit for destruction by his own doing. If your landlord continues without remorse, his conscience is not asleep. No, it plucks at him, but he pretends not to know, lest he be tortured by fear. The stench of unrepented wrong rises, and God’s patience delays judgment only to call him to amendment. Do not suppose that his silence means peace. The tribunal of conscience supplies its own lash, and when God’s long-suffering ends, it will speak in terrors.

Yet for yourself, be not troubled at the lack of visible recompense. The Apostle glories in the testimony of a pure conscience, not in earthly settlements. If you have not met wrong with wrong, if you have not returned curses, you have already a consolation greater than any sum of money. And remember Esau: he sought repentance with tears but found no place for it, because his grief was not true change. He still plotted murder in his heart. So too, forced apologies that come without inward transformation are empty. Pray rather that your landlord’s heart be changed, not merely his actions, and leave the reckoning to God. For He who said, “Vengeance is mine,” will not forget the electric shock that harmed your body nor the distress that troubled your soul. But He may allow delay that you both might learn something higher: you, to trust without seeing; he, to fear and repent before the day of account.

Therefore, give thanks for this trial, for it is a furnace to purify your faith. Complain not, lest you lose the profit of suffering. Continue to pray, not with bitterness but with the meekness that hopes still, “if peradventure God give them repentance.” And rest in this: neither skin ailment nor shower expense is hidden from Him who counts every tear. The compensation you seek may yet come, or it may be replaced by a far weightier reward. In either case, your holiness shines brighter than any earthly justice, and your patience will not go unhonored.
