Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, knowing that our Heavenly Father sees every injustice and hears the cries of His children. The dangers you have faced due to the landlord’s neglect, electric shocks, skin problems, and the physical and emotional toll, are not unseen by God. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." The Lord is a defender of the oppressed, and He calls us to seek justice with patience and faith.

We pray fervently that the landlord’s heart would be softened by the Holy Spirit, that his conscience would be awakened, and that he would recognize the harm caused by his negligence. Scripture reminds us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." May the Lord break through any hardness of heart and lead this man to repentance, not only in word but in action, making right what has been wronged.

We also stand in the gap for your healing, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The electric shocks and skin problems you’ve endured are serious, and we ask the Lord to restore your health completely. Psalm 103:2-3 declares, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." May He touch your body with His healing power and provide for every medical need and expense.

For the financial burdens you’ve carried, the cost of treatments, alternative shower facilities, and the stress of unmet needs, we pray for provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask the Lord to open doors for compensation, whether through the landlord’s repentance, legal avenues, or divine intervention. May every threat and inappropriate action be silenced by the peace and protection of God.

We also lift up your perseverance. It is disheartening to seek justice for a month with no response, but we are reminded in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Do not lose heart. The Lord is working even when we cannot see it, and His timing is perfect.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, intimidation, or despair that may be trying to take root in this situation. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees all and judges justly. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we pray for the landlord’s heart, that You would soften it, convict it, and lead him to repentance. Stir his conscience by the power of the Holy Spirit to do what is right and just. Father, we ask for full compensation for the suffering endured, every medical bill, every inconvenience, every moment of pain. Provide for this need abundantly, Lord, according to Your riches in glory.

We pray for healing, body, mind, and spirit. Touch every area affected by this neglect, and restore what has been lost. Give wisdom and favor in any legal or practical steps that need to be taken. Protect from further harm or intimidation, and surround with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You will not leave this matter unresolved. Strengthen faith in the waiting, and let hope arise anew. We declare that this situation will bring glory to Your name and that Your will shall be done.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your advocate. If legal steps are necessary, seek godly counsel and trust that the Lord will guide each decision. We will continue to pray for breakthrough and justice in this matter.

We’ve been thinking about you this past month, how hard it is to wait for even a word of acknowledgment, let alone any move toward making things right. When you’ve been harmed by someone’s negligence, and then met with silence instead of remorse, it can wear on the spirit as much as the body. The electric shocks, the skin problems, the costs you’ve shouldered alone, we’re grieved that you’ve had to carry all this, and we’re standing with you in prayer for a change.

While we continue asking God to stir your landlord’s conscience, we also want to gently remind you that you don’t have to wait passively. Have you been able to write down every incident, every expense, and every instance of threat or inappropriate action? Clear documentation often speaks in ways words cannot. Some communities have tenant advocacy groups or legal aid services that offer free guidance; even a simple letter from one of them can sometimes pierce through indifference where personal appeals have failed. You are not alone in seeking justice, God often uses such practical helps alongside our prayers.

No matter how long this takes, your suffering is not hidden from Him. He sees each sleepless night and counts every tear. We’re asking Him not only to heal your skin and body, but to bring you a sense of His steady presence right in the middle of the uncertainty.

Lord Jesus, you know every detail of this painful situation. We ask for complete healing of this person’s skin and body, and for your comfort to shore up their spirit. Stir that landlord’s heart with true conviction and a desire to do right. Provide wisdom for next steps and, in your timing, the compensation that is just. Until then, surround this one with your peace and make a way through. In your mighty name, amen.

The house in which you dwell has God for its Landlord, and you are but a tenant under His watchful eye. The lease of this life runs with a clause often overlooked, that the great Landlord has the right to enter and leave His own property, and to order all things within it according to His will. When the wiring of providence sends a shock through your frame, and sickness rises like a foul damp from the walls of this earthly tabernacle, it is He that permits it, and He would speak to your conscience through the jarring. Set your house in order, for we are never right till we are right with conscience, and conscience tells us we are never right till we are right with God. Obey the inward monitor, listen to the still small voice, and prepare to meet your God. Though another human landlord may have failed in his duty and his conscience lies seared as with a hot iron, the Lord of hosts is not indifferent to your woes. He pities you, He feels for you; a fellow‑feeling, a kindred suffering is in the breast of the Almighty toward His afflicted children.

Yet mark this: Christ was made a perfect Savior through suffering, and the travail of His soul guarantees certain results. He suffered, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. When you plead for compensation and the stirring of a hardened conscience in another, remember that no earthly payment can cleanse the guilt of sin or quiet the deep unrest of the soul. I never find my conscience made peaceful by any theory save this: that my sins were actually laid upon Christ and that His righteousness is put upon me. Look to Him who, being tempted up to the suffering point, is able to succor them that are tempted. Your skin afflictions, your fears, the threats you have endured, He knows them fully, for He Himself has suffered, not for any fault of His own, but out of pure, unmerited love. He drank a cup more bitter by far, yet there was no resistance, no rebellion in Him. He suffered outside the gate, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood.

Do not let your heart grow sick with waiting upon man, for though a month has passed with no communication, no remorse, no willingness to make amends, the Lord is not slack concerning His promise. The suffering of the innocent often cries out the loudest for divine justice. But see to it that this trial does not merely cast a stain of bitterness upon your spirit. Would you wish to be spotted from head to foot, believer? I know you would not. Instead, let this affliction drive you to the One who has the power to awaken the dead conscience. When God’s Word comes home sharp to a man, he cannot blunt its edge forever. We pray that the Holy Spirit will apply it with energy, making that landlord feel the painful conviction of his moral defilement, until he loathes his sin and turns. Thrice is he armed that has his conscience clear through the blood of sprinkling, but the man who suppresses its voice invites terror of soul that may even make his mortal frame grow sick.

Therefore, bring your case before the Great Landlord. Acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, and cast your burden upon Him. The matter is not hidden from His eyes. When you come to the Table of communion, meditate upon that word suffered. Then plead the blood and righteousness of Christ with all the greater boldness, because your heart is sprinkled from an evil conscience, and the same Spirit that works obedience in you will work in you the spirit of adoption. Christ’s suffering has ennobled the whole work of grace, and He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul. Pray on with this expectation: that whether the earthly landlord repays or refuses, the Lord intends to make of you a son of consolation, one who, having seen affliction, has the tender temper to cheer others. The long‑suffering of our God still spares the guilty, giving them further opportunities for repentance. May it be so, for Jesus’ mighty name’s sake.

You now seek through prayer what you have not yet received, not by misfortune, but perhaps by the mercy of God who desires your greater good. For consider: whom do you count as truly injured? The one who suffers a loss in the body or in possessions, or the one who inflicts such things? Look to the soul of this landlord. He has given himself over to greed, to threats, to hardness of heart. He has done far worse to himself than any electric shock could do to you, for he has pierced his own conscience and stored up wrath for the day of judgment. You, on the other hand, have been presented with a means to win a crown, if you bear this nobly. To be defrauded is no evil, but to defraud is a great evil. And to endure wrong for the sake of Christ is the very greatest benefit, making you like God who sends rain on the just and unjust.

Leave off, then, praying primarily for compensation and for the stirring of his conscience merely that you might receive money. Instead, let your first prayer be for his repentance and deliverance from the snare of the devil, who holds him captive. Weep for him, for he is the one truly sick, even if his skin is whole. And for yourself, give thanks. Did not the furnace of Babylon burn those without, while the three youths inside were bedewed? So this affliction of your body and your finances can become a heavenly dew if you receive it with a thankful spirit. A month without his remorse seems long to you, but what is that to the endless ages wherein God shapes us? He allows the delay that your long-suffering may be perfected, which is a root of all self-denial and a treasure no compensation could buy.

I do not say you should desire evil for yourself, but I exhort you to trust the Lord who sees all. Your skin troubles and all these expenses are known to Him. He permitted them; will He not also care for you? But if you occupy your thoughts with demanding your rights and brooding over the landlord’s failure to pay, that thorn of resentment will choke the word. Instead, recall the testimony of a clear conscience, which is our glorying. No one can rob you of that unless you surrender it to bitterness. So go, and in meekness pray for this man as Christ prayed for His betrayers. If you can bless him from the heart, you will lay up ten thousand rewards in heaven, far surpassing any earthly sum. This is not a small thing I ask, but it is the way of the Kingdom. I will indeed pray, but not that you win a dispute, rather that you win the victory over your own will and find the peace that passes all understanding, which no electric fault or landlord’s greed can ever cut off.
