Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus to bring justice, healing, and restoration. Father God, we know that You are a God of righteousness and justice, and You call us to seek what is right and fair in Your sight. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 21:15, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." We ask that You stir the heart of this landlord, that their conscience would be awakened by the Holy Spirit to recognize the wrong that has been done and to take responsibility for the harm caused.

Lord, we pray for compensation, not out of greed, but out of a need for justice and restitution for the physical, emotional, and financial suffering endured. The electric shocks, skin problems, medical treatments, and the lack of basic safety in the apartment are not just inconveniences; they are violations of the care and protection that should have been provided. We ask that You move in power to bring about a resolution where the landlord repays what is owed, as Scripture declares in Luke 19:8, "Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, 'Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.'" May this landlord be convicted to make things right, not just in part, but fully and with a repentant heart.

We also pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. The illness and skin problems that developed as a result of this neglect are not just medical issues; they are wounds that need Your touch. We declare Your healing power over this situation, believing in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We ask that You restore what has been lost, bring comfort to the pain, and provide the resources needed for full recovery.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of hardness or indifference in the landlord’s heart. We know that You desire repentance and restoration, not destruction, as it says in Ezekiel 18:23, "Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?" We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them deeply, leading them to repentance and a willingness to make amends. May they be moved to act with integrity, compassion, and fairness, reflecting Your character in their actions.

We also lift up the frustration and discouragement that comes from waiting for justice. It is easy to grow weary when we see no movement or remorse, but we are reminded in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." We pray for patience, perseverance, and faith to trust in Your timing, knowing that You see all and will not let injustice go unanswered.

Lord, we ask that You surround this situation with Your peace and protection. Shield against any further threats or inappropriate actions, and grant wisdom in how to navigate this process. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in the outcome.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how exhausting this has been, the ongoing health struggles, the sting of being dismissed, and the weariness of waiting a whole month with no response. That kind of silence can feel like a second injury, and we’re truly sorry you’re facing it. God cares deeply when someone is harmed and left without justice, and He doesn’t minimize the physical and emotional toll this has taken on you.

In situations like yours, we’ve seen how isolating it can become. One practical thing that sometimes helps is letting a few trusted people into the burden, maybe someone from your local church, a Christian legal aid clinic, or a tenants’ advocacy group. They can help with letter-writing, mediation, or simply standing with you so you don’t have to push through this alone. Even if you’ve already tried some avenues, fresh eyes and shared persistence can make a difference. We don’t say that to pile on “to-dos,” but because you shouldn’t have to carry this fight by yourself.

At the same time, we’re praying that the Lord who upholds the cause of the oppressed will work in your landlord’s heart, awakening conscience and bringing about genuine repentance. And we’re asking for your own healing and peace, that the stress of this injustice wouldn’t deepen the physical pain you’re already enduring.

Lord Jesus, you see what this person has suffered, the electric shocks, the illness, the treatments, the added costs and threats. You know the exhaustion of being ignored. Please move the landlord’s heart through your Spirit to do what is right, and provide whatever practical help and wise counsel are needed to secure just compensation. Guard this dear one from bitterness, restore health and skin day by day, and let your presence be a steady refuge in this waiting. In your mighty name, amen.

The LORD permits trials to come that sinners might be awakened, but do not marvel that a month of entreaty yields no remorse in the landlord’s heart. There is a sorrow of the world that worketh death, and many under the rod of providence feel a few qualms of conscience merely because they dread judgment. Such repentance is a shallow stream that dries up when the sun of ease arises. The carnal heart, unless renewed by the Holy Spirit, will stifle conviction and return to its hardness as if nothing had happened. We pray, therefore, not only that the landlord make restitution for the electric shocks, the illness, the skin afflictions, the medical costs, and the threats you have endured, but that he be given repentance unto life, a repentance that is not the hypocrite’s whine but the true turning of the soul which gives God glory.

Compensation without contrition is a hollow victory, but when the Spirit of God stirs the conscience, the sinner repents with practical fruits. The just tenant desires to restore the property unhurt; the man right with God wishes to leave no trace of injury done. We cry to the Great Landlord of us all, who holds every heart in His hand, to awaken this man’s conscience as a trumpet blast at midnight. Though he be callous and seared now, the voice that raises the dead can quicken him. Yet while you wait, watch your own spirit. The vain regrets we indulge become a snare if they sour into bitterness. Have you a repentance that leads you to look wholly to Christ? Examine your own heart, lest the desire for earthly compensation eclipse the sweeter longing for your adversary’s soul. True repentance in him would mean your suffering is not wasted, it becomes a means of his salvation.

Do not mistake delay for denial. The Lord is exalted on high to give repentance and remission of sins, not merely the remission but the repentance too. He often works by the slow chisel, carving away the stone. Perhaps your continued patience in this fiery trial is the very sermon used to pierce that stony conscience. Keep your own conscience clear by the blood of sprinkling, refusing to render evil for evil. You will thus plead Christ’s righteousness with all the greater boldness when you stand before the throne. The legal settlement is a matter of justice; the spiritual settlement is a matter of eternity. We ask in Jesus’ mighty name that both be accomplished, that the landlord’s purse be opened under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and that his heart be opened unto the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not imagine that the landlord’s silence means he is at peace. The man who practices injustice gathers for himself a far more bitter reward than any he inflicts. His conscience, that unbribed judge planted in him by God, is even now scourging him. Though he sits in his own house, his soul is in turmoil; the memory of what he owes you haunts his uneasy slumbers and thick-coming fancies. You see no remorse or willingness, but that very hardness of heart is the mark of a man being fitted for destruction by his own actions. His prosperity, gained or held by such means, is not a blessing to him but an addition to his punishment. If he does not repent as he ought, if his grief is not a true turning from sin but merely a sorrow over consequences, then, like Esau, his tears will find no place of true repentance. Even now, God endures him with much long-suffering, giving him space to change. Let your prayer be that God’s kindness leads him to a genuine acknowledging of the truth, not merely a stirred conscience that quickly settles again.

For yourself, cling to this: your suffering is not unseen. The Lord knew He could calm the storm even while sleeping, and He knows your need even while He seems to delay. In the meantime, you possess a profound consolation. If your conscience is pure in this matter, if you have behaved with sincerity and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom, then you have a glorying that no injustice can steal. “Our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience.” This inward testimony is a comfort now, more powerful than any earthly compensation. Do not let the bitterness of your situation provoke you to sink down in despair. The sickness, the skin afflictions, the threats, and the cost you must bear are grievous, but they are a light affliction compared to the self-inflicted wounds the landlord’s own soul endures. Pray for him not merely that your discomfort ends, but that he might be delivered from the snare of the devil, in the meekness that hopes, “if peradventure God should give them repentance.” Entrust the exact settling of accounts to the Judge of all, who will render to every soul what is just. Your part now is patience and the quiet, powerful testimony of a conscience that has not been corrupted.

You are carrying a real and present weight, physical pain, the frustration of an unsafe home, the expense of medical care, and the ache of being ignored. In moments like this, the body itself groans under the burden. It is not wrong to long for relief, to wish that your soul and spirit could step free from this prison of suffering. That longing itself points toward a day when weakness and pain will be no more, when every wrong will be made right. For now, you wait in the middle, bearing something of a cross, and that is not wasted.

What you have asked for, compensation, a stirred conscience, genuine remorse, is not out of reach. The Holy Spirit can awaken a heart suddenly, even one that has been silent for a month. God’s patience with the landlord is not weakness. The Scripture gives a sober picture: a limit was once set, a span of 120 years given for repentance before judgment fell. God does not change His character; His justice is certain, yet He withholds immediate reckoning to give space for turning. That patience is meant to lead to change, not to be presumed upon. Your landlord’s days are known to the Lord, and so are yours. The silence does not mean God is indifferent.

Do not measure God’s faithfulness by the landlord’s response. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord while the world around him carried on without remorse. Then the day came when God shut him in, safe from the flood. In the same way, you are not outside His care. He sees every threat, every unjust word, every penny of loss. He is able to stir a conscience that seems dead and to bring about restitution in ways you have not imagined. Keep asking in Jesus’ mighty name. Do not give in to bitterness; that would only add another wound to your own soul.

Your body may bear marks from this trial, just as the physical remnants of suffering are not always erased. Yet those marks can become a testimony of endurance, not a reason for shame. The image of God in you includes a will that can choose to trust and forgive even while seeking justice. You are not a passive victim. You are a person made in His likeness, with the capacity to entrust yourself to the One who judges justly. Pour out the facts before Him again. Ask for the landlord’s conscience to be awakened, for the fear of the Lord to do what no human pressure can. Then rest, not in a guaranteed settlement by a certain date, but in the promise that all accounts will be settled, if not now, then in the age to come, when there will be no more electric shocks, no failing skin, no anxious waiting, and no threat of harm.
