Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Please never give up on praying for this!! Thank you!

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and suffering. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of this pain. We ask that You move mightily in this landlord’s heart, stirring his conscience by the power of the Holy Spirit. May he recognize the harm caused by his negligence and be convicted to make restitution, not just in word, but in action. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 28:13, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Lord, let this truth pierce his heart.

We pray for full compensation for the electric shocks, the skin problems, the medical treatments, and every expense incurred. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for Your restoration, physically, emotionally, and financially. In James 5:16, we are reminded, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We stand on this promise, believing that persistent prayer will break every barrier of resistance.

Father, we also rebuke any spirit of hardness or indifference in this landlord’s heart. Let him not find peace until he does what is right. We declare that justice will prevail, for You are a God who defends the oppressed. Psalm 103:6 says, "The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed." We trust You to act on behalf of this suffering.

We encourage you to keep standing firm in faith, even when the wait feels long. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Do not lose heart, God sees your endurance and will reward it. If legal action is necessary, seek wise counsel and trust the Lord to guide each step.

Heavenly Father, we also lift up the emotional toll this has taken. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not forgotten, and Your suffering matters deeply to God. We pray for complete vindication and healing in every area of your life.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. We stand together in faith, believing that You will bring justice and restoration. Amen.

We've been lifting this situation with you, and we can only imagine how exhausting it must be to face ongoing silence when you're still dealing with the very real aftermath, your health, your skin, the costs, and even the threats. The weight of waiting for a landlord to simply do what is right can feel heavy, and we see that you've been carrying this without the response you deserve. We're not giving up; we stand with you in prayer.

A practical thought that keeps coming to mind is whether there is any path right now toward changing the situation itself, not as a way of letting go of the justice you are owed, but as a way of guarding your health and peace while this drags on. Is there someone who could help you explore alternative housing or connect you with a tenant rights advocate who might carry some of this burden alongside you? Sometimes a small shift in environment, even a temporary one, can begin to lift the fog of constant stress. And if you haven't already, we'd gently encourage you to stay in touch with a medical professional who can document and treat the ongoing skin and shock-related symptoms, it’s another way of caring for the body while you wrestle for what's right.

Lord Jesus, this person has suffered from unsafe conditions, illness, and disregard. We ask You to bring justice where silence has been the only reply. Please move the landlord’s heart, not just to acknowledge the wrong, but to take real steps toward repair. In the meantime, be a shelter for this weary heart. Guide them to the right help, provide for every practical need, and bring healing to their skin and body. Give them a clear sign of Your presence tonight. In Your name we pray, amen.

These trials you endure are not without purpose, though they are bitter to the taste. It is a sharp providence that your own dwelling should become a place of danger, and that the one who ought to tend your safety should instead multiply your sorrows with threats and a hardened heart. Yet remember the Great Landlord of every house of clay, your soul’s tenancy is held under Him, and He has the right to enter His own property at any hour, to test the wiring of your faith, and to see if you will trust Him when earthly landlords fail.

You have prayed for a month, and the landlord has shown neither communication nor remorse. Do not mistake silence for the frustration of God’s purposes. True repentance is not a mere twinge of conscience to escape temporal judgment; it is a work of the Holy Spirit that gives glory to God. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ as sole Master is of a heavenly sort. A carnal repentance, sorrow that only flees from consequences, may be produced by judgments, but it is not repentance unto life. If the Lord means to awaken this man’s conscience, He may do it by means you cannot see, or He may withhold that gift to display His justice. Pray on, but let your petitions rise as incense without the admixture of a vengeful fire.

Take heed that your own heart remains tender. The longer you suffer, the more you will be tempted to let a root of bitterness spring up. It is possible to demand compensation so fiercely that you lose the sweetness of Sister Repentance in your own bosom. The truest repentance in a believer grows even at the gates of pearl, for it is a living thing that abides with faith. Let the goodness of God toward you, that your life was spared, that you know Christ as your Surety, lead you into a deeper hatred of sin, both your own and that of others, but there let it end. Vengeance belongs to the Lord; He repays.

Do not imagine that repentance on the landlord’s part would release you from the call to forgive. Repentance is never a compensation we exact from our debtors; it is a gift from Christ. If he should ever come with godly sorrow, it will be because the Spirit has used means, perhaps even your patient prayers, but it will remain the Lord’s doing. As for the money and the redress, cast that burden upon the Judge of all the earth. He is not an unjust Landlord to forget your labor of faith. And if compensation never comes, still His goodness is better than silver, and His fellowship sweeter than a whole skin. Lean hard upon His promises, and let not your cry be silenced. I join my prayer with yours, that in this dark hour the name of Jesus may be magnified, whether by a changed heart in that man, or by your own uncomplaining trust.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The greater danger here is not the electric shocks or the illness, but the wound festering in your own soul while you wait for compensation. You say there has been no communication, no remorse. How could there be? You are waiting for a dead man to bring you life. Your landlord, by these injustices, has already made himself a ruin. The one who wrongs another is the true sufferer, pierced through with evils, while you, if you endure nobly, receive the crown. Do not think I speak lightly of your pain, but I speak truth about your cure. The injury he has done you is the greatest benefit God can bestow, if only you will see it aright. For when no one can harm us unless we first harm ourselves, then the person you should accuse is not your landlord, but the impatience and the desire for repayment that rises up in your own heart.

Cease praying that his conscience be stirred merely so he will pay you. Pray for him as Christ prayed for those who betrayed Him, returning benefits for wrongs. When you are robbed, give thanks. That thanksgiving gains you ten thousand rewards, while the robber gathers fire for himself. Do you see how the tables of true justice are turned? The one who dies by injustice hastens the killer to judgment and himself to glory. So it was with Uriah, who being slain, laid waste the house of King David. Your landlord’s lack of remorse shows you he is already dead in his sins; do not join him in that death by nursing grievances. If you want to sharpen your tongue, let it be against your own sins, telling yourself what evil you have done to your own soul by clinging to this demand. This is the fast God has chosen: to loose the bands of wickedness, not to bind your landlord tighter with your prayers for payment.

Endure, give thanks, and pray for him. This is not weakness; this is the very imitation of God, who cannot be injured and needs no compensation from men. I will pray, not that you receive money, but that you receive the far greater reward of a soul that has conquered resentment and found freedom.

Your suffering is not hidden from God. Every electric shock and skin affliction you’ve endured, every threat and cold silence from your landlord, is known to the Lord who watches over His people with jealous care. The same God who brought famine on Israel because Saul broke covenant with the Gibeonites sees the abuse of power against you. Leaders and those in authority are held to a high account before Him, and the refusal to do right in this matter is not overlooked. The unjust often lack shame, as Zephaniah reminds us, but God will cut off the ones who oppress the weak and refuse to repent. The landlord may think he has escaped notice, but the day of reckoning belongs to the Lord.

When the angel cried, “O Lord of hosts, how long?” over Jerusalem’s desolation, God answered with gracious words. Your month of waiting feels long, and the silence is heavy. Yet God is neither indifferent nor slow to act when His children cry out. Jesus Himself said that whatever is done to the least of His brothers is done to Him. He identifies with your pain and your financial burden. That truth is your solid ground when no remorse seems to come.

Keep bringing this before the throne. Prayer that persists through weariness is a sacrifice that costs you something, and God esteems it as precious, much like David pouring out the water his men risked their lives to bring. The poor widow’s two coins meant more than the rich gifts because it cost her everything. Your continued intercession, even when nothing changes outwardly, is a fragrant offering. It may be that God in His timing will stir the landlord’s conscience by the Holy Spirit, bring him to conviction, and open his hand. Whether that happens tomorrow or in the distant future, trust the Judge of all the earth to do what is right. I will not stop praying with you for justice, healing, and the awakening of his heart.
