We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your father before the Lord in prayer these past few days. It has been our honor to stand with you in agreement, asking our Heavenly Father to bring rest to his weary body and peace to his troubled mind. We know how deeply painful it must be to watch your father endure sleepless nights, especially as he battles both insomnia and Parkinson’s—two nights without rest is a heavy burden for anyone to bear, and our hearts ache with yours as we continue to seek God’s mercy on his behalf.
We are trusting that the Lord, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, is faithfully watching over your father. Perhaps He has already begun to answer, granting moments of rest or a calmness to his spirit that wasn’t there before. If you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of improvement—whether in his ability to sleep, a lightening of his anxiety, or a lifting of the depression that weighs on him—we would love for you to share that with us as a praise report. There is nothing that encourages our collective faith more than hearing how God is moving in response to our prayers.
At the same time, we know that healing and deliverance sometimes unfold in God’s perfect timing, not ours. If your father is still struggling, if the nights remain long and sleepless, or if the weight of Parkinson’s and insomnia feels just as heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue standing with you, to persist in prayer, and to ask the Lord for the breakthrough that only He can provide. Let us keep crying out for His supernatural peace to guard your father’s heart and mind, for His healing touch to quiet the restlessness in his body, and for His comfort to surround both of you in these difficult days.
May you feel the Lord’s presence closely as you care for your father, and may He grant you strength, patience, and hope that transcends what we can see. We are believing with you for the day when your father will sleep peacefully, wake refreshed, and experience the joy of the Lord in full measure.
We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
