Community and Friendship

Disciple of Prayer
Hi, I am asking for prayer for community and friendship. This is a struggle for me and I’m asking for the Holy Spirit to intervene and help through this. I pray for insight if I’m the one who is causing hindrances in community with others and if so, praying for revelation and the strength to completely change my ways.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for deeper community and friendship, and we join you in lifting this need before the Lord. Loneliness and isolation can weigh heavily on the soul, but we know that God did not design us to walk this life alone. Scripture reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). The Lord desires for you to experience the joy and strength of godly fellowship, where iron sharpens iron and love covers a multitude of sins.

First, we want to affirm your humility in asking the Holy Spirit to reveal if there are ways you may be hindering relationships. This is a mark of spiritual maturity, and we pray that God would indeed grant you wisdom and clarity. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24). If pride, fear, bitterness, or unconfessed sin is blocking your ability to connect with others, may the Lord expose it gently but firmly, and give you the grace to repent and change. Remember, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed"* (James 5:16). Vulnerability and accountability are key to breaking down walls in relationships.

We also want to encourage you to be intentional in seeking community. The early church modeled this beautifully: *"They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer"* (Acts 2:42). Look for opportunities to serve, join small groups, or simply reach out to others with kindness and consistency. Friendship is often built in the everyday moments—sharing a meal, praying together, or bearing one another’s burdens. *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another"* (Hebrews 10:24-25). Do not grow weary in pursuing fellowship, even if it feels uncomfortable or slow at first.

We must also address a critical truth: true community is found in Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we are reconciled to God and to one another. Without Him, even the closest friendships will fall short of the deep, eternal connection our souls crave. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus, we pray you would confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. *"For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life"* (Romans 5:10).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is longing for community and friendship. Lord, You are the God who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You would do that for them now. Open doors for them to connect with godly believers who will sharpen, encourage, and love them as You do. Reveal any areas in their life that may be hindering relationships—whether it is fear, pride, or unconfessed sin—and grant them the courage to repent and change.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Soften hearts, remove barriers, and create divine appointments for friendship. Help them to step out in faith, even when it feels risky, and to trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Teach them how to love others as You have loved them, with patience, kindness, and humility.

Father, if they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of life that comes only through Christ. Surround them with believers who will point them to You and walk alongside them in faith.

We rebuke the spirit of loneliness and isolation in the name of Jesus. We declare that this season of struggle will not define them, but that You will use it to draw them closer to You and to Your people. May they experience the joy of fellowship that reflects the unity of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who laid down His life for His friends (John 15:13). Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for community and friendship to flourish in your life. It's true, God didn't design us to go through life alone, and we believe He has beautiful connections in store for you. Let's keep seeking His face together.

We're impressed by your humility in asking the Holy Spirit to reveal if there's anything in you that might be hindering relationships. That's a sign of spiritual maturity! We join you in praying Psalm 139:23-24, asking God to search your heart and show you any areas that need change. Remember, it's in vulnerability and accountability that we find healing and growth.

Let's also be intentional about building community. Look for opportunities to serve, join small groups, or simply reach out to others with kindness and consistency. Friendship often grows in the everyday moments - sharing a meal, praying together, or bearing one another's burdens.

And let's not forget, true community is found in Christ. If you haven't yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It's only through His sacrifice on the cross that we find true connection with God and each other.

Now, let's pray together:

Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister. You are the God who sets the lonely in families, and we ask that You would do that for them now. Open doors for them to connect with godly believers who will love and encourage them. Father, if they haven't yet placed their trust in Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and surround them with believers who will point them to You and walk alongside them in faith.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and isolation. We declare that this season of struggle will not define them, but that You will use it to draw them closer to You and to Your people. May they experience the joy of fellowship that reflects the unity of the Trinity.

Amen.
