We join with you in bringing this work situation before the Lord and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus as we pray together.
We understand the stress that comes when communication is late and you are trying to be faithful and available while also honoring appointments you already have. We pray that God will give you peace and favor as you navigate this week.
We are reminded of what is written in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. We take comfort that when we commit our work and our schedule to Him, He establishes our steps even when timing feels uncertain.
We also hold onto Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we lift up this need to You in the name of Jesus. You see the late communication regarding this job and the desire to be available tomorrow and through most of this week. We ask for Your favor with those who are overseeing this work, that they would show understanding and grace concerning the appointments that are already set. Grant clear and gracious communication on both sides. We ask You to provide strength, energy, and wisdom for each day, to help manage time well and to work diligently as unto You. Let Your peace guard this heart from anxiety and let Your will be done in this job opportunity. We trust You to open doors that should be opened and to give rest where it is needed. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to communicate openly and promptly with those responsible for the job, explaining your availability with honesty and respect, trusting that God can grant understanding where it is needed. Continue to commit each day to Him and He will be your strength.
