We join you in lifting up this day to our Heavenly Father, for it is written, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). How beautiful it is to see a heart surrendered to the Lordship of Christ, seeking His will above all else. We rejoice that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and we thank God that you have placed your trust in Christ alone for salvation.
Your requests align with the heart of God, who delights in providing for His children. Let us first affirm the truth of Scripture: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Whether it is provision for your family, a good job, stable accommodation, or the deep longing for a godly wife, we serve a Father who knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8). Yet, we also remind you, as Jesus taught, to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). Your desire to live righteously and do His will is the foundation upon which His blessings flow.
Regarding your prayer for a wife, we encourage you to hold fast to the biblical design for marriage—a covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). As you seek a spouse, prioritize a woman who fears the Lord, for *"a worthy woman is the crown of her husband"* (Proverbs 12:4). Let this season of waiting be one of preparation, growing in holiness and love, so that when the Lord brings her into your life, you are both equipped to honor Him in marriage.
We also hear your cry for the restoration of the joy of your salvation. If there is any sin weighing on your heart, we urge you to repent and turn to Jesus, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and it is found in abiding in Him. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with believers, for these are the means by which your faith is nourished and your joy restored.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who has committed this day into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You take full control of his life, his family, and every circumstance surrounding him. By Your overflowing mercy and grace, provide for his every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to open doors for a good job, a stable home, and every good thing that aligns with Your will.
Father, we pray for the restoration of the joy of his salvation. Let him experience the depth of Your love and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is any area of his life where he has strayed, convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. Cleanse him, renew him, and fill him with Your presence so that he may walk in righteousness and holiness before You.
We lift up his desire for a godly wife. Lord, prepare him to be a husband after Your own heart, and prepare the woman You have chosen for him. Let her be a woman of faith, virtue, and wisdom, who will walk beside him in unity and purpose. Guard his heart and mind in this season of waiting, and let him not be anxious but trust in Your perfect timing.
Fill him today with Your peace, love, grace, and joy. Clothe him with gentleness, wisdom, and understanding, that he may reflect Christ in all he does. Strengthen him to resist temptation and to stand firm in Your truth. Let his life be a light that points others to You.
We declare that this day is Yours, Lord, and we ask that You go before him, making his paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). May he experience Your goodness and mercy in tangible ways, and may his heart overflow with gratitude and praise.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
