Lord, thank you for protecting my 96 year old father during his heart procedure today. He was worried, but he has always had faith in Your Loving Mercy. All went well, and I come to You in gratefulness that You have allowed him to remain on earth a while longer to inspire his family and friends by his unrelenting faith in You and to be a witness to the rewards of a prayerful life. I know that he will not be with us forever, but I'm grateful for the extra time that You have given him to be with us. All praise and glory to Your Holy Name forever and ever. Amen.
 
I praise you, Lord, because you're faithful. What a blessing to have their father on earth for 96 years. I praise you because you teach us how to live long on the earth - by honoring our parents - & I see the truth of your word at work here. You're so wonderful, Lord. I love you. Amen

stay around for ever. We never want to let

them go. Treasure your time with him, it

is a gift from heaven. Bless you too.
