Humble Prayer Warrior
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you so much for preserving our old culture of ###'s and I hope ### can come back to please make soul animation come back like TV shows and movies and shorts going back to their really early days and mainly and inked cells but some geography to a diversity I’m sick of flash and CGI all the time glad digital link still exist, but I would really love to see cells again Someday to have a lot of things be produced like they were. Please let landline phone stay forever too. Please make sure people put land lines back in their homes for a lot of good reasons like emergency power outages or if a fire you know where the phone is or criminal breaks in and payphones please being payphones back. And old fashioned automate. Wonderful works of art. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heartfelt longing for the return of certain traditions, art forms, and technologies that hold sentimental value. While we understand the nostalgia and appreciation for the craftsmanship of the past, we want to gently remind you that our focus as believers is to seek God’s will above all else. The world is ever-changing, and while some changes may feel like losses, we trust that God is sovereign over all things, including the evolution of culture and technology.

Scripture reminds us in Ecclesiastes 7:10, "Don’t say, 'Why were the former days better than these?' for you do not ask wisely about this." This doesn’t mean we dismiss the beauty of the past, but rather that we place our hope in God’s eternal purposes rather than in the preservation of temporal things. We can appreciate the artistry of hand-drawn animation, the reliability of landlines, and the charm of old-fashioned automats while also trusting God to guide us into the future He has planned.

We also want to encourage you to consider how we can honor God in the present. Whether through modern or traditional means, we are called to use our gifts and resources for His glory. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."

Let us pray together for wisdom and contentment in this ever-changing world:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for the creativity and ingenuity You have placed in humanity. We thank You for the beauty of the past and the advancements of the present. Lord, we ask for wisdom to appreciate the good in both while keeping our eyes fixed on You. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty over all things, knowing that You hold the future in Your hands. Give us contentment in every season and the discernment to use the tools and technologies of our time for Your glory. May we always seek to honor You in all that we do, whether through art, communication, or daily life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in all things, trusting that He will guide you into what is good and pleasing to Him. If there are specific ways you feel called to preserve or revive aspects of the past for His glory, we pray that He would open doors for you to do so in a way that honors Him.

What a joyful, grateful prayer you’ve shared with us. We love that you’re celebrating the beauty of hand-drawn animation, the solid feel of a landline, and the charm of old-fashioned craftsmanship. There’s something wonderful about treasuring the art forms that shaped us, it’s like giving thanks for the fingerprints of the Creator in human creativity.

While we can’t promise that celluloid animation or payphones will return on a large scale, we can stand with you in gratitude and hope. Our God delights in beauty, order, and goodness in every age. He isn’t limited by the tools of one era, and He continues to work through the creativity of today’s artists, whether they use digital tablets or ink and paint. Your longing for what’s been lost isn’t silly; it’s a reflection of our deep desire for the permanent and the personal in a throwaway world. That desire itself can be a prayer, as we place our nostalgia before the Lord and ask Him to sustain what is good, in our hearts and in the world around us.

Maybe you’ll find small ways to keep those traditions alive, enjoying classic shows with friends, supporting artists who still use traditional methods, or even trying your hand at something handmade. Whatever comes, we trust that your thankfulness turns your eyes toward the Giver of every good and lasting gift.

Please pray with us: Father, thank You for this joyful and thankful heart. Help us all to honor the beauty of the past while walking forward in hope. Give creative minds wisdom and skill, and may we always find wonder in the work of their hands. Keep this dear one filled with Your peace and a deep sense of Your presence in all times. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The heart reaches after what the eye once beheld, and there is a tenderness in longing for the familiar things of days gone by. Yet consider the great change spoken of in the Psalm, from the broken in heart to the starry hosts of Heaven. Our God is equally at home with the little and with the great. The inked cell and the landline telephone are little things in themselves, but the soul’s reach for permanence in a shifting world is no small matter. It is a cry for something that does not pass away. But what if all these outward forms, the art of cel animation, the security of a corded phone, are but shadows of a deeper need? The real sickness is not the loss of old methods, but the heart’s distance from its Maker. He considers us when we are of low estate, therefore we will give all diligence to acquaint ourselves with Him that we may be at peace.

Beware of all that is not the work of the Holy Spirit. There must be a breaking up of the iron pan of the heart. Your request piles up desires for payphones and old-fashioned art, but has there been a change of life in you? You tell me you trust in God, and yet the great question remains: does your faith impel you to walk with God? Does it put you into the light where God dwells? The outside of religion is garnished with fine things, but careful conscientious discipleship is what the Lord requires. Snow clothes the earth with a white, warm garment, as the well-washed sheep are clothed with wool, but what good is a snowy landscape if the heart within is not made clean? He scatters the hoarfrost like ashes, a picture of death upon all mere human glory. Our culture’s old ways are like that frost, soon melted by the sun.

The resurrection of the dead is a thing that men can lay hold of because it has to do with bodies, something to be seen and handled. But what is the restoring of a cel-animated show compared to that day when the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout? We never mourn with regard to the souls of the righteous, they are forever with the Lord. The only mourning that we permit among Christians concerns the body, which is blighted like a withered flower. Your departed friend shall come back to you, and you shall rejoice with him in the land where they die no more. That is the true restoration, the animation of the soul by the breath of God, not the re-inking of painted cels for a fleeting amusement.

To stand gazing at such things with your mouth wide open is just the wrong thing to do. The way to watch for Christ is with your belt tight about you because you are ready for work, and your lamp flaming out with brightness because you are anxious to illuminate the dark world in which you live. I do trust you will never be satisfied with temporary godliness or slight impressions soon received and soon lost. There is forgiveness with Jehovah, that He may be feared. David said, "I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Your likeness", not with the sights of an old-fashioned television. Until you hate your iniquities with a perfect hatred, you go on in them, and your prayers become a list of worldly comforts. You grandparents with snowy heads, whose hairs are whitened with age, know you not that you still have need of Divine keeping or you will fall?

How can there be room for Christ in the inn when it is crowded with other guests? The man is too busy, or he is wholly taken up with pleasure. The women are too proud of themselves, or even of the clothes that cover them. Let us be buried with Him, given up to Him totally, no longer sprinkled with a little Grace which may suffice to spatter us with enough godliness to make us decent, but forever dead unto the world and alive unto God in newness of life. That is the old-fashioned automate that produces wonderful works of art: a new creature in Christ Jesus. The Lord’s promise is not to preserve landlines, but that converts are the garments of the Church, her bridal array, her ornaments and her jewels. You shall surely clothe yourself with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on you, as a bride does. Seek this, and let lesser shadows flee away. Is it worth it? It is worth everything, for with Him is plenteous redemption.

The desire to preserve what is beautiful and familiar stirs deeply in the human heart, and you have poured out this longing before the Lord. You cherish the old inked cells of animation, the reliability of a landline telephone, the artistry of automatons, and you ask God to bring these things back and keep them forever. But consider: if a farmer discovered a way to keep his grain forever free from decay, would he not give anything for that secret? Yet here we learn that the same wisdom applies not to wheat only, but to everything, how your goods, your body, and your soul may be preserved unconsumed. Do not fix your hope in the preservation of earthly shadows, however lovely they seem, while neglecting the immortal soul.

There is a preservation that is truly destruction, worse than all destruction, because it leaves no remedy. To cling so tightly to the passing things of this age that they become an idol in the heart, this is to save the outward form and lose the life within. What profit is it if the whole world of nostalgic comforts were restored, but the soul perishes? The apostle knew better when he faced the lion of danger; he trusted God to deliver him not from every earthly loss, but from every evil work, which is the true preservation.

You ask for the return of old ways as though they were the cure for the weariness of the present. But the Lord spoke a hard saying to those who followed Him for earthly bread: “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.” The soul’s true animation does not come from hand-painted cels or the ring of a rotary phone, but from Christ Himself, the True Light that lighteth every man. When He told His disciples He was going to a place they could not come, He stirred their love to a holy fervor, not for earthly relics, but for the place where His body could no longer be touched in corruption. So your affection must be kindled toward the imperishable city, not toward the ruins of an earthly golden age.

Do not mistake my words: there is no sin in appreciating craftsmanship, nor in thanking God for the good gifts of the past. But let your preservation be of the heart: keep your soul from the moth and rust of this world’s cares. The servants in the field were zealous to root out tares, not because they hated the tares, but because they loved the wheat. So let your zeal be for the crop of righteousness, for the eternal harvest, rather than for the fleeting technology of any generation. What you truly need is not the return of payphones, but the unchanging voice of God, who speaks through His Son and delivers us from the lion’s mouth of sin. Set your mind on the things above, where Christ is, and all these other things, whether old or new, will find their proper place as fading signs of that eternal Beauty which never passes away.

There is a beauty in the things crafted with care, a sense of permanence and human touch that seems to fade with each new wave of technology. That yearning for the old ways, for the feel of a landline phone in a crisis or the tangible art of a painted animation cel, touches on something deep within us. We were made to appreciate goodness and order, and it is no small thing to see that goodness in the works of human hands. Yet, the Scriptures remind us that everything we can see and touch is temporary in its current form. The heavens and the earth will wear out like a garment, and like a vesture, they will be changed.

The systems and technologies of this world, no matter how reliable or beloved, are part of a creation that is passing away. God alone is unchanging; He is the same, and His years will not fail. Our deepest security cannot rest in preserving a particular method of communication or a style of artistry, because the very foundations of the world can shift. The real anchor is not a phone line that stays up during a storm, but a direct line to the Creator, who holds all storms in His hands.

We sometimes cling to the patterns and traditions we grew up with, and they can feel more binding than Scripture itself. The old covenant had its own forms and ordinances, but those were pointing forward to something far more solid. The traditions of handwashing, the specific rituals, they were not the substance. The substance is faith in Jesus Christ. In the same way, a method of animation or a piece of hardware is not the substance of what is good. The goodness lies in the creativity and order it reflected, things that find their true and eternal source in God.

Nostalgia can be a subtle form of forgetting that our ultimate home is not in reviving a past era of this crumbling world. We often pray as though we need to convince God to rearrange the outward circumstances and restore old technologies, but the real thrust of prayer is aligning our hearts with His unchanging will. His goal is not to freeze a moment in time from the twentieth century, but to conform us to the image of Christ. The old paths that God calls us to stand in and ask for are not the paths of analog circuits or ink and paint. The good way where we find rest for our souls is the way of walking in fellowship with Him, a life of righteousness and love that honors Him whether the world runs on CGI, hand-drawn cells, or something we haven’t even imagined yet.

When Jesus returns, He will change these vile bodies to be fashioned like His own glorious image. That is the ultimate restoration, far beyond any artistic technique. That is the creation that will not wax old or wear out. The peace you are looking for is not found in ensuring the landline never dies, but in knowing the God who never changes. Walk in that old path of trusting Him, and you will find the rest your soul is truly asking for.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, sharing your longing to see the return of cherished traditions and the beauty of handcrafted artistry in animation and everyday life. It is a joy to stand with you in agreement before our Heavenly Father, lifting up your desire to preserve the timeless values and craftsmanship that once brought so much joy and reliability to our culture.

As we continue to pray in Jesus’ Name, we ask the Lord to move in ways that honor your request—whether by stirring the hearts of creators to revive the art of inked cells and soulful storytelling, or by restoring the practical blessings of landline phones and the dignity of well-crafted public spaces. We believe God hears the cries of His children, and we trust Him to work in His perfect timing.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if new concerns have arisen, we invite you to share them again so we may continue to intercede alongside you. May the Lord bless you with His peace and assurance as you seek Him, and may He remind you daily of His faithfulness through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
