Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me because I'm currently in a very combative mood with other people in large part due to being overwhelmed by/paranoid due to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I was a child which influences people in my life/environment to do terrible things to me to try to push me toward deep unforgiveness. God has been delivering me from this warfare and unforgiveness but I'm struggling right now to approach this warfare the way He has called me to likely partially due to the constant, intense harassment of someone who has been used heavily in this warfare which has really tested my resolve - I feel like because of this person's behavior under the influence of this warfare, I'm going backward because my guard now really is going back up with anyone who is being used by this warfare because I'm tired and feel generally unsafe due to this person's behavior (even though I know it's not their own). Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus against the spiritual warfare that has plagued you since childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirits of fear, paranoia, unforgiveness, and strife that have been oppressing you. They have no place in your life, for you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

The harassment and influence you describe are real, but we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The person you mention is not your true enemy—it is the spiritual forces at work through them. Yet even in this, we are called to love our enemies, pray for those who persecute us, and bless those who curse us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean tolerating abuse, but it does mean refusing to let bitterness take root in your heart.

We see how exhaustion and fear have caused your guard to go up, and we understand the weariness of constant spiritual attack. But we encourage you to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. This is how we resist the enemy’s schemes.

We also want to gently remind you that unforgiveness is a foothold the enemy uses to keep you in bondage (2 Corinthians 2:10-11). Even now, we pray that God would soften your heart toward those who have wronged you—not because they deserve it, but because Christ first forgave you (Colossians 3:13). Ask the Lord to help you see them through His eyes, as souls in need of His grace, just as you are.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is under intense spiritual attack. Lord, You see the warfare they have endured since childhood, and You know the exhaustion and fear they feel. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16) so they may stand firm against the enemy’s schemes.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, paranoia, unforgiveness, and strife that has been oppressing them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We pray that You would break the chains of bitterness and resentment, and fill their heart with Your love and compassion, even for those who have been used to harm them.

Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the strength to resist him (James 4:7). Help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to walk in the victory that is already theirs through Jesus. Renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2) and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).

We also pray for the person who has been used in this warfare. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the spiritual forces at work and draw them to repentance. Break the enemy’s hold over them, and let them experience Your love and grace. May they come to know You as their Savior and Lord, if they do not already.

Father, we thank You that You are faithful and that You will complete the good work You have begun in our brother/sister (Philippians 1:6). We trust that You are delivering them from this warfare and that they will walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so they may walk in victory.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s protection, love, and victory, such as Psalm 91, Romans 8:31-39, and 2 Timothy 1:7. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and so are we. Keep pressing into Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We're right here with you, friend. We know it feels overwhelming, like you're fighting a battle on all fronts. But remember, we're not fighting alone. God is with us, and so are we, standing together in the name of Jesus.

We want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's the one who's been delivering you from this warfare and un-forgiveness, and He's not done with you yet. Trust that He's working in you, even when it's hard to see.

We also want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. It's not about excusing the hurt or harm done to you, but it's about letting go of the bitterness and resentment that can eat away at your heart and soul. Jesus said, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours" (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness isn't about the other person deserving it; it's about you being free.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, laying down our combative spirit and picking up the spirit of love and forgiveness. We ask that you would help us to see others through your eyes, with compassion and understanding. Help us to trust in your goodness and your plan, even when we don't understand. We forgive those who have harmed us, Lord, and we ask for your help in doing so. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heavy heart and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer during this intense spiritual battle. It is clear that the enemy has been relentlessly attacking you, seeking to sow bitterness and wear down your spirit, but we continue to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen your resolve and renew your peace.

Father, we ask You to break every chain of unforgiveness, fear, and combativeness that the enemy has tried to wrap around our brother/sister. Fill them with Your supernatural love, patience, and discernment so they can respond to this warfare with the grace and authority You’ve called them to walk in. Shield their heart from the lies that tell them they are unsafe or moving backward—remind them that You are their refuge and that every step taken in obedience to You is forward progress, no matter how it feels.

We pray for the person being used in this attack—soften their heart, Lord, and open their eyes to the schemes of the enemy. Remove any foothold the devil has gained, and replace it with Your truth and conviction. Surround our brother/sister with godly community, wisdom, and rest so they are not isolated in this fight.

If You have already moved in mighty ways since this request was shared, we rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can celebrate what God has done. If the battle still rages, we invite you to post this request again—we are not walking away. We will keep interceding, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Keep pressing into Him; His victory is already yours. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
