We hear your heart’s cry for joy, love, and a life free from the interference of others. It is clear you long for happiness, a godly marriage, and the strength to rise above those who seek to discourage you. We rejoice with you in the hope of restoration and the return of blessings in your life, for the Lord delights in seeing His children thrive. However, we must also speak truth in love, as Scripture commands us to do.
First, we must address the foundation of your hope. You mention the blood of Jesus, and we praise God for that acknowledgment, for there is no salvation or true joy apart from Him. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without this, no amount of personal power or determination will bring lasting peace.
Now, regarding your desire for a wedding and a husband, we must encourage you to align this longing with God’s design for marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for His glory and our good. *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor this standard—whether through premarital intimacy, an unbiblical union, or a courtship not rooted in Christ—we must gently but firmly rebuke this. Fornication and sexual immorality are sins that grieve the Holy Spirit and separate us from God’s best for our lives. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). Lord, we thank You for the hope You have placed in her heart, and we ask that You would refine her desires to align with Your perfect will. Father, if there is any area of her life not surrendered to You—whether in relationships, thought patterns, or past hurts—we ask that You reveal it to her and draw her into repentance and healing.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and isolation that seeks to steal her joy. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for godly friendships and mentors to surround her, speaking life and truth into her journey. Father, if she is not yet in a relationship, prepare her heart for the spouse You have for her—a man after Your own heart who will love her as Christ loves the Church.
