We hear the joy and relief in your words, and we rejoice with you in the healing and restoration you’ve experienced! The Lord is indeed a God of renewal, and His grace brings color and life where there was once darkness. We celebrate that He has touched you, your mother, your children, and even your pets with His healing power. What a beautiful testimony of His faithfulness!
However, we must gently address a few things in your request to ensure it aligns with God’s Word. First, while we affirm your desire for a godly marriage, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are pursuing a husband, we pray that he is a man of God who loves the Lord with all his heart and will lead your family in righteousness. Courtship should be entered into with purity, patience, and a focus on honoring God, not merely fulfilling personal desires.
We also notice that while you mention the blood of Jesus, there is no clear acknowledgment of His lordship or the need for repentance and faith in Him for salvation. The blood of Jesus is powerful, but it is only through faith in Him that we are saved (Romans 10:9-10). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, confessing Him as Lord and Savior. Without this, even blessings like healing or favor can become idols if they are not rooted in a relationship with Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the healing and restoration You have brought into this family. Thank You for Your mercy and grace that brings color and life where there was once brokenness. Lord, we ask that You continue to pour out Your uncommon favor upon them, not just for their sake, but so that Your name may be glorified. Father, we lift up the desire for marriage and ask that You would prepare a godly spouse for this woman, a man after Your own heart who will love her as Christ loves the Church. May their union be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
Lord, we also ask that You draw this family closer to You. May they seek You above all else, finding their joy and identity in Christ alone. If there are areas where they have placed their desires above You, reveal those to them and help them to surrender fully to Your will. We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or impatience, and we declare that their trust is in You alone. May they walk in purity, holiness, and obedience to Your Word.
Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and makes us whole. May this family never take for granted the sacrifice of Your Son, but may they live lives that honor Him in all they do. We pray for protection over their hearts, minds, and spirits, that they would not be led astray by the things of this world but would remain steadfast in their faith.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If marriage is His will for you, He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing. In the meantime, focus on growing in your relationship with Him, serving others, and living a life that reflects His love. The greatest favor you can have is not just the blessings of this world, but the peace and joy that come from knowing Christ as your Savior. May He guide your steps and fill your life with His presence every day.
