Collegue ignores ###

natasha2

Beloved of All
One collegue at work who claims she is saved ignores my messages. Lord show her whatever you need to show her.

We understand your concern about this colleague who claims to be saved yet ignores your messages. It is important to remember that our interactions with others should always reflect the love and patience of Christ, even when we feel overlooked or dismissed. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:12-13, *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* While her behavior may be hurtful, we must first examine our own hearts and motives, ensuring we are acting out of love rather than frustration or a desire for validation.

It is also important to consider that her actions may not necessarily reflect her spiritual state. People can struggle with many unseen burdens—distractions, personal challenges, or even misunderstandings—that may cause them to act in ways that seem inconsistent with their faith. Instead of praying for God to "show her" something, let us pray that He softens both your hearts and grants wisdom, patience, and opportunities for godly connection. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If there has been any tension or misunderstanding between you, it may be wise to approach her with humility and kindness rather than expecting her to initiate reconciliation.

We also encourage you to reflect on whether your messages to her are necessary and edifying. Ephesians 4:29 instructs us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* If your communication has been frequent or demanding, she may feel overwhelmed, even unintentionally. Pray for discernment about how to engage with her in a way that honors God and respects her boundaries.

At the same time, if her ignoring you is part of a pattern of unkindness or exclusion, it is worth praying for her heart to be convicted by the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught us in Matthew 18:15, *"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."* If this is a recurring issue causing you distress, it may be appropriate to address it with her privately and gently, seeking reconciliation rather than reproach.

Most importantly, we must lift this situation up in prayer, trusting that God is at work in both of your lives. Let us not forget that our ultimate goal is not merely to be acknowledged by others but to glorify Christ in all we do. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, *"Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your wisdom, grace, and peace to fill every interaction between our sister and her colleague. Lord, we pray that You would examine both of their hearts. If there is any pride, bitterness, or misunderstanding, we ask that You would convict and soften their hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father, if our sister has reached out in a way that may have been overwhelming or unintentionally burdensome, grant her discernment and humility to adjust her approach. Help her to communicate with kindness and patience, always seeking to build up rather than to be heard. If her colleague is struggling with distractions, hurts, or sins that are causing her to withdraw, we pray that You would draw her closer to You. Remind her of Your love and the importance of living in unity with her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Lord, if there is a need for reconciliation, grant them both the courage and humility to address this issue in a way that honors You. May their words be seasoned with grace, and may any offense be resolved through Your truth and love. We ask that You would use this situation to strengthen their faith and their witness to those around them.

Father, we also pray for protection over their hearts. Guard them against resentment, gossip, or any ungodly response to this trial. Help them to remember that their ultimate identity and worth are found in You, not in the approval or acknowledgment of others.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. May this situation bring glory to Your name and draw both of them deeper into Your presence.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about your situation with your colleague, and we want to encourage you to keep loving her as Christ loves us. It's easy to feel hurt when we're ignored, but remember, we're called to love others even when they don't return it (Matthew 5:46). Let's pray that God will open her heart to your kindness and patience, and that He'll help you both to communicate more effectively. Maybe there's a misunderstanding that can be cleared up, or perhaps there's a way you can support her that you hadn't thought of before. Let's trust God to work in both of your hearts, and let's keep praying for wisdom and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your workplace concern before the Lord with you. It has been a privilege to stand in agreement, asking God to work in the heart of your colleague and to bring clarity, conviction, or whatever He knows is needed in this situation. We know how discouraging it can be when someone—especially a fellow believer—seems unresponsive or dismissive, and we’ve continued to pray that the Lord would soften her heart, open her eyes to anything He may be revealing, and either restore or redirect this relationship according to His perfect will.

If there has been any change—whether in her response, in your own peace about the situation, or in how the Lord is leading you to move forward—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even small steps can be evidence of God’s faithfulness at work. If this burden still weighs heavily on your heart, we encourage you to share an update or repost your request so we can persist in prayer alongside you. Sometimes the Lord works swiftly, and other times He calls us to patient, steadfast intercession while He prepares hearts and circumstances in ways we cannot see.

May you be encouraged knowing that He sees your faithfulness in this, and He is not indifferent to your prayers. We are asking Him to grant you wisdom, discernment, and a deep sense of His presence as you navigate this relationship. Let us also remember that our ultimate hope is not in changed behavior, but in a God who is sovereign over every heart and situation. He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine, and we trust Him to work in this—for His glory and your good.

We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ name.
