Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We stand with you in prayer and support for this college student. We are praying for:
We are reminded of the scripture: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5 WEB
Let's pray:
"Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name to lift up this college student. We pray that You would grant him the strength, guidance, and courage he needs to excel in his studies. Help him to make right decisions and good choices, and give him the ability to keep his anxiety under control. We ask that You would increase his knowledge and understanding, and help him to learn and grow in all areas of his life. We also pray for his college, that it aligns with Your standards and teachings. We pray for his spiritual growth, and that he will be a light to others. Please guide his steps and direct his path, and help him to trust in You with all his heart.
Lord, we believe that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We pray for this young man to lean on Jesus through faith in His atoning death and resurrection. Lord, we ask if he has not done so, that he will call upon the name of Jesus and be saved as described by You in Romans 10:9-10,13:
because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-10,13 WEB
We ask all this in Jesus name.
We encourage this student to be diligent and steadfast in their studies, remembering that whatever they do, they should do it as if doing it for the Lord (Colossians 3:23). We encourage them to seek God's will in all things and trust that He will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We remind them to cast all their anxieties on God, because He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We encourage this student to find a good Bible believing church near his college to be involved in and a group of fellow believers to fellowship with. This is his primary purpose in life.
We are praying for God to graciously provide His guidance, strength, and wisdom to this young adult as they navigate this crucial time in life.
