We join you in lifting up your upcoming college reunion and travel plans before the Lord, trusting that He will guide your steps and grant you safe passage. It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true help in our time of need. As Scripture reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). Your faith in bringing this request before Him is a testament to your reliance on His provision, and we stand with you in agreement.
We also encourage you to consider the purpose of this reunion. Reunions can be a time of reflection, reconnection, and even reconciliation, but they can also bring opportunities to share the light of Christ with those who may not know Him. As you interact with old friends and acquaintances, remember the words of Jesus: *"You are the light of the world. ... Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:14, 16, WEB). Pray for opportunities to speak life, encouragement, and truth into the lives of those you encounter. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom in your conversations and to open doors for you to be a witness for Christ, whether through your words or the way you carry yourself.
If there are any relationships from your past that were not grounded in biblical principles—perhaps former romantic entanglements that did not honor God—we urge you to guard your heart and remain steadfast in your commitment to Christ. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If you find yourself in conversations that tempt you to compromise your values or revisit old sins, remember that you are a new creation in Christ. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and let your interactions reflect the transformation He has worked in you.
As you travel, we pray for God’s protection over you. *"He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone"* (Psalm 91:11-12, WEB). May the Lord go before you, making your paths straight and your journey smooth. We ask that He would grant you favor with airline staff, safe and timely flights, and a spirit of peace as you travel. If there are any delays or challenges, may you respond with patience and trust, knowing that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We also lift up any anxiety or excitement you may be feeling about this reunion. It is natural to feel a mix of emotions when revisiting the past, but we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are unresolved feelings or past hurts that resurface, we encourage you to surrender them to the Lord. *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Do not allow the enemy to use this time to stir up bitterness or regret. Instead, focus on the goodness of God and the work He is continuing to do in your life.
Finally, we pray that this reunion would be a time of joy and gratitude for the ways God has faithfully led you since your college days. May you see His hand in your life and be filled with praise for His faithfulness. *"Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever"* (Psalm 107:1, WEB). Whether this reunion brings laughter, nostalgia, or even moments of challenge, may you walk in the confidence that you are exactly where God wants you to be, equipped by His Spirit to represent Him well.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their upcoming college reunion and travel plans. Lord, we ask that You would go before them, making their way clear and their journey safe. Grant them favor with airline staff, smooth connections, and protection from any delays or dangers. Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your peace, guarding their heart and mind from anxiety or distraction. May this reunion be a time of joy, reflection, and opportunity to shine Your light.
Lord, we ask that You would give them wisdom in their conversations and interactions. If there are opportunities to share Your love and truth, open doors for them to speak boldly and with grace. Protect them from any temptations to revisit old sins or compromise their faith. Remind them of their identity in Christ and the new creation You have made them to be.
We pray that this time would be a testament to Your faithfulness in their life. May they see how far You have brought them and be filled with gratitude for Your goodness. Use this reunion for Your glory, Lord, and may every step of this journey be covered in Your peace and purpose.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
