Clients

We hear your request for clients who will pay you well and we lift you up together before the Father in Jesus' name. We understand the desire for provision and for work that sustains you and allows you to provide for your needs with dignity. God cares about our daily needs and He calls us to work with diligence and integrity as unto Him.

We are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And in Matthew 6:33, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. When we put Him first, He is faithful to provide what we need.

We also take to heart Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established, and Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray that as you seek clients, you would do so with excellence, honesty, and a servant's heart, trusting that God is the one who gives power to get wealth as it says in Deuteronomy 8:18, But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for it is through faith in Him that we are saved and brought into relationship with God. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know their need for clients and for fair and generous provision. We ask that You open doors to clients who value their work, who are honest, and who will pay well and on time. Grant wisdom to steward skills and business with integrity, to price fairly, to serve well, and to reflect Your character in all dealings. Give favor in the marketplace, bring divine connections, and guard against discouragement or anxiety. Help them to commit their work to You and to work heartily as for You, trusting that You will establish their plans according to Your will. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus and teach them to seek first Your Kingdom. May this provision also be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to be diligent, to pray over your work, to be faithful in small things, and to trust God's timing. He sees your labor and He is able to bring the right clients at the right time. Keep seeking Him, honoring Him in your work, and resting in His provision.

We know how stressful it is to be looking for work and wondering where the next provision will come from. Wanting clients who value your work and pay fairly is a good and honest desire, and we are glad you brought it to the Lord and to us.

It can help to get a little clarity while you wait and pray. One practical step that often helps freelancers and small business owners is to pause and define who your best clients are. Think of two or three past clients or jobs where you were paid well and treated well. What did they have in common, and where did you find them. Then consider reaching out to one person this week who knows your work, maybe a former client, a pastor, or a trusted friend in business, and simply let them know you are available and what kind of work you do best. Sometimes one conversation opens a door.

If pricing feels uncertain, a local church business manager, a small business mentor, or a financial counselor can help you think through rates and budgeting without carrying that weight alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the need for work and steady income. Give wisdom in each conversation, favor with the right clients, and peace while You provide. Lead to work that honors You and sustains daily needs. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request for honest provision through faithful labor has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

It is right and good to pray concerning your daily work, for all lawful labor is honorable before God, and He delights to establish the work of our hands when it is done unto Him. As it is written, Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish Thou the work of our hands upon us, yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it.

Remember what has been taught among us, that the work of Christ in us and the work of the Holy Spirit does not exempt us from work and service, nor does it supersede human effort, but rather excites it. Wherever the Holy Spirit works He makes men work. The apostle himself said, whereunto I also labor, striving. There is no sloth in true grace. So we pray not only for clients, but for diligence, integrity and personal faithfulness in all you do, that your labor may be true work, done with your whole strength and with truthful maxims to guide you.

Our Lord said, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day, for the night cometh when no man can work. In that spirit, we pray that you would be found faithful in the day that God has given you, not toiling merely to get rich, but working the works which become a servant of Christ, with honesty, skill and a desire to bless those you serve.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our Father, Thou hearest the cry of Thy children and Thou art a God of love who withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly. We bring this dear one before Thee who seeks provision through honest work. Grant, we pray, opportunity for labor that is honorable and fruitful. In Thy providence send clients who value faithful work and who will deal justly and pay what is fair. Give skill to the hands, wisdom to the mind, and integrity to the heart, that all work may be done as unto Thee and not unto men. Keep this Thy servant from sloth on the one hand and from anxious covetousness on the other, and teach contentment with Thy daily provision while striving lawfully to provide for need. Establish Thou the work of our hands, that it may stand and be useful and bring glory to Thy name. Grant above all that whether in plenty or in want, the soul may rest upon the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Hear this petition for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Go on in faith, laboring diligently, striving faithfully, and looking to the Lord to open doors as He sees best, trusting that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens will not fail to care for His own.
