We join you in standing firmly against the works of darkness that seek to oppress and drain the peace of this home. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is not by our own strength, but by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ that we can command these evil influences to flee. The house you speak of does not belong to the enemy—it belongs to God, and we reclaim it in the mighty name of Jesus.
The presence of an energy-draining spirit is a sign of spiritual oppression, and we must approach this with both authority and discernment. First, we encourage you to examine whether there are any ungodly influences in the home—idols, occult objects, unrepentant sin, or anything that may have given the enemy a foothold (Deuteronomy 7:25-26, 2 Corinthians 6:14-16). If so, these must be removed and renounced in Jesus’ name. The home should be dedicated to the Lord, and every room should be prayed over with the blood of Jesus, declaring it a place of peace, protection, and worship.
We also urge you to ensure that the occupants of the home are born-again believers in Jesus Christ. If they are not, share the Gospel with them, for true deliverance comes through faith in Christ alone (Mark 16:17, Acts 16:31). There is no lasting freedom without surrender to Jesus. If they are believers, encourage them to repent of any known sin, walk in obedience to God’s Word, and put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Now, let us pray with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord, we lift this home to You and ask for Your divine intervention. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every demonic stronghold that has taken root in this place. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every legal right the enemy claims over this home and command all energy-draining spirits, spirits of oppression, heaviness, and darkness to leave now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You fill this home with Your Holy Spirit—let Your peace, joy, and light flood every corner. Let this be a place of refuge, worship, and rest. We pray for the occupants of this home, Lord. If they do not know You, soften their hearts to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. If they are believers, strengthen their faith and help them to walk in victory. Surround this home with Your heavenly angels and let no weapon formed against it prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We declare that this home belongs to You, Lord, and we reclaim it for Your glory. Let every demonic presence be bound and cast out, never to return. Fill this place with Your presence, Lord, and let it be a beacon of Your love and truth. We pray all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying over this home whenever you visit. Play worship music, speak Scripture aloud, and anoint the doorposts with oil as a symbol of consecration to the Lord (Exodus 12:22-23). Stand firm in faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may try to intimidate, but he has already been defeated by the blood of the Lamb. Walk in that victory, and trust that God will bring complete deliverance.
