Lions Lacking — But the Children Satisfied
Those who seek God find every true need met, no matter their circumstances.

God provides daily needs through unexpected means and asks you to trust His timing and methods.
Business Life
Business life sharpens character and demands you use that strength for Christ’s work.
We join you in prayer for the burden of debt that weighs on you and we bring this need before our Father together in Jesus name.

We understand you are asking for clearance of debts and for provision through work that has been promised to help pay what is owed, and for strength to endure. God sees your need and He cares about every detail of your life. He is our provider and our strength, and He calls us to trust Him while also walking in diligence and integrity.

The scripture reminds us, The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously. Psalm 37:21 and also Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8. It is honoring to God when we desire to repay what we owe and to be faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to us. We also take comfort in His promise, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. When we put Him first and work diligently, He provides. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and we put our trust in Him as Savior and Lord. It is by calling on His name that our prayers are heard.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for debt to be cleared. You know the exact amount owed and the weight it brings. We ask for Your provision and Your wisdom, that You would open doors for honest work and steady income, and that You would bless the work of her hands. We pray for the one who promised to pay, that You would move on their heart to be faithful to their word and to fulfill what was promised in a timely way. Give strength and endurance, for You have said, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Grant peace in place of anxiety, guidance in budgeting and stewardship, and faith to trust You day by day. Help us to be diligent, honest, and faithful in all our obligations, that our lives may honor You. We ask all this according to Your will and Your perfect provision, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how heavy this debt is feeling for you, and we are praying with you for relief and for steady provision while you wait on what was promised.

Carrying an unpaid balance, especially for something like dental care, can be worrying every day. We are asking God to give you strength and peace in the waiting, and to guide the person who said she would help, that her work would go well and she would be able to follow through as she intended.

When debt feels overwhelming it can help to have a clear plan in place, even while we pray. If you have not already, you might consider sitting down with a trusted financial counselor who can look at the full picture with you. Many local churches and community agencies offer free or low cost budgeting help, and nonprofit consumer credit counseling bureaus can help set up a workable repayment plan and keep good records of what has been promised and paid. Just having that structure often brings more hope and clarity as you take the next steps.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus' name. You see this debt and the promise made to help clear it. Provide for what is needed, give wisdom for each decision, and sustain our friend with Your peace and strength. Lead both sides with honesty and kindness, and open the right doors for help and work. Amen.

Your burden concerning debts has been laid before the throne of grace and we have joined our hearts with yours in prayer. The Lord knows the weight of this care, and the promise made by the one who has said she will help to clear what is owed, and He hears your cry for strength and for provision in her work.

The Scripture teaches us that all strength of every sort comes from God, for He is the Author of all being and the glory of our strength lies in Him alone. Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, for apart from God it is not strength at all and must come to an end. But the promise is sure, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and the Lord Himself declares, I will strengthen them. It is not by creature strength that we can hold our own, for without His timely succor we have no resources, but to those who have no might He increases strength. Therefore we have prayed that you may wait upon the Lord, and that He will graciously renew your strength day by day for the duties and trials before you.

We are reminded also of a greater debt. When we could not pay half a farthing in the pound of our great debt of sin, when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly and remitted the debt freely by His precious blood. As it is written, He shall not exact it of his brother, for the debt is remitted. If the Lord has so freely forgiven the eternal debt through Jesus Christ alone, we may trust His faithful care for our temporal needs also, and look to Him as our Provider who knows how to give fitly and wisely what is needful.

So we pray that the Lord in His mercy will provide for you according to His wisdom, that He will incline the heart of her who promised to fulfill her word with faithfulness and integrity, and that He will give help and steadiness to her hands in her works, that she may have wherewith to do good. We ask that He will grant you strength to persevere in holiness and in honest labour, to walk up and down in His name with a quiet confidence, and to cast all your care upon Him who cares for you.

May the Lord keep you, supply your need, and cause you to prove that in the Lord Jehovah there is everlasting strength, and that His grace is sufficient for every burden. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you and to provide all things needful, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
