Claiming El nino disaster

We join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name, and we hear the anxiety in your heart over what is being claimed about a coming El Nino disaster and the urgency you feel about your legal case.
We are reminded that our God reigns over all creation, including the winds and the seas. The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him, Matthew 8:27. No weather pattern, no forecast, and no disaster is outside His sovereign hand. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1, and He has promised, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. We gently encourage you not to live in fear of what may come, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. It is wise to prepare as we are able, but we are called to trust Him rather than to claim disaster over our lives.
We also lift up your need for legal help. We understand how heavy it feels to wait for a law firm to take your case, and we pray with you for open doors, for favor, and for justice according to God's perfect will and timing.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and mediator, and we thank You that we can cast all our cares on You because You care for us. Lord have mercy on us and on all who may be affected by this El Nino. We ask for Your protection, Your mercy, and Your restraint over the wind and water. Calm our anxious hearts and let Your peace rule over fear and speculation. We ask that You guard communities, provide for those who are vulnerable, and help us to trust not in forecasts but in Your unfailing love and power.
We also bring this legal need before You. Lord, You are a God of justice and truth. We ask that You guide the right law firm to take this case if it is according to Your will, that You grant favor, wisdom, and diligence to all involved, and that You provide clear direction. Help our dear one to be patient and steadfast while waiting, knowing that Your timing is perfect. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. Let that peace guard this heart now.

Your request has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord at the throne of grace. You speak of tidings of a great El Nino disaster to come, and of waiting for law firms to take your case, and your heart cries, Lord have mercy.
Let the word of the Lord be your comfort in this hour. It is written, Fear not for I will help thee, and again, Casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore play the man and let faith overcome fear. Fear is weakening and fear dishonors God when we distrust the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Why should you fear when the Lord Himself says, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord.
We must labor to get rid as much as possible of that tormenting fear, and labor to trust in promised strength. In proportion as faith grows strong, fear will vanish, for perfect love casteth out fear. Keep that holy reverence which is the beginning of wisdom, but put away dismay, for the command is absolute and unqualified, Fear not, be not dismayed.
We have prayed that the Lord in His great mercy would spare life and show His goodness even where judgment is threatened, that He would temper the storm according to His providence and keep His people in perfect peace whose minds are stayed on Him. We have prayed also concerning your case, that the Lord would guide the counsel of those whose help you seek, that He would open the right door in His time and according to His wisdom, and grant you favor and justice. May He give you quietness of spirit while you wait, and keep you looking unto Jesus who alone conquers fear for us.
