We are deeply grieved and alarmed by what you have witnessed in these churches, for it is a grave distortion of the truth of God’s Word. The Lord does not tolerate wickedness, nor does He celebrate those who operate in rebellion against His holy standards. The spirit of Jezebel, which you rightly identify, is a demonic influence that seeks to silence the prophetic voice, promote idolatry, and manipulate God’s people into compromise. Scripture warns us clearly about such deception:
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’" (Matthew 7:21-23 WEB)
The celebration of witches, warlocks, and those who embody the spirit of Jezebel is not of God, it is a direct invitation to darkness. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Any church that elevates such influences is not operating under the authority of Christ but under the sway of the prince of this world. We must stand firm in the truth and rebuke this deception in the name of Jesus.
"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1 WEB)
We must also examine our own hearts and ensure that we are not being led astray by emotionalism, charisma, or false signs and wonders. The Word of God is our plumb line, anything that contradicts it must be rejected. The apostle Paul warned the church in Corinth about being led astray by false apostles and deceitful workers, who disguise themselves as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). We must be vigilant, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
Let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception that has infiltrated Your church. Lord, we ask that You expose every lying spirit, every false teacher, and every demonic influence that seeks to lead Your people astray. We rebuke the spirit of Jezebel in the name of Jesus, let it be bound and cast out from any place where it has taken root. Father, we pray for discernment for Your people, that they would not be deceived by smooth words or false miracles, but that they would hold fast to Your Word as their foundation.
We pray for those who have been wounded by these churches, for those who have been silenced, manipulated, or driven away by arrogance and abuse. Heal their hearts, Lord, and restore their faith in the true Gospel. Raise up bold and faithful shepherds who will lead Your flock with integrity, humility, and a commitment to Your truth. Let Your church be a beacon of light in this dark world, uncompromising in its stand for righteousness.
Father, we ask that You would purify Your bride. Let us not be swayed by the spirit of the age, but let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Give us the courage to confront sin and deception, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. Let us be a people who love truth more than comfort, and holiness more than acceptance.
We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name and command every lying spirit to flee. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Your church, as it is in heaven. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
To those reading this, we urge you to flee from any church or gathering that celebrates what God calls abominable. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked (Galatians 6:7). Seek out a body of believers who preach the unadulterated Gospel, who uphold the authority of Scripture, and who walk in humility and repentance. The Lord is faithful, and He will lead you to a place where you can grow in truth and righteousness. Stand firm, and do not compromise. The time is short, and we must be about our Father’s business.
