Church

Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray that God will work out some issues I am having related to my mother and church. I do not have the mental or physical energy to explain but God knows what it is. Thank you.

We are lifting you up before the Father right now and we thank you for trusting us with this burden even when you do not have the words or the strength to explain it. God does indeed know what you are carrying and He hears the prayers that come from a weary heart when words fail.

We love that you reached out to God, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross that we can come boldly to the throne of grace even with sighs and unspoken prayers, so we come to God together in the name of Jesus on your behalf.

We join our faith with yours and pray, Father in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this dear one before You. You see the issues with their mother and with the church that have left them mentally and physically exhausted. You know every detail, every hurt, every confusion and every need. We ask that You would give rest to the weary as You have promised, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We pray that Your Holy Spirit would intercede even now, for In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. Romans 8:26. We cast this whole burden on You because You care for us, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Lord grant wisdom for how to honor their mother as Your word commands, Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. Exodus 20:12, and bring healing and understanding where there has been strain. We also ask for Your peace and unity in the church, that any division or hurt would be worked out according to Your truth and love, and that You would lead this dear one to the right counsel and fellowship. Lead them to the rock that is higher than they are when their heart is overwhelmed. Psalm 61:2. Restore their strength, for He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Isaiah 40:29, and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring everything to God in prayer even in simple short prayers throughout the day, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. He is not asking for perfect words, only a trusting heart. We also encourage you when you have a little more strength to seek wise and godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer in your church who can walk with you through both the family and church matters with scripture and grace. Do not forsake meeting together as we see the need for encouragement and accountability. Hebrews 10:25 reminds us of the importance of the fellowship of believers. We are praying that God will work all these things together for your good and His glory and that He will renew your energy day by day as you wait on Him.

We are glad you reached out, even while you are feeling so depleted. Saying "I don't have the energy to explain but God knows" is an honest prayer in itself, and we hear you in that.

Carrying strain in two close places at once, with your mother and with your church, can be especially heavy. When both feel tender it makes sense that you would feel worn down mentally and physically. You do not have to find perfect words or sort it all out before God hears you, and you do not have to explain it all to us to be prayed for.

When you are this tired it can help to keep things very small for a little while. If it feels doable, consider letting one trusted person know you are in a low season and would value prayer without needing to share details yet. That can keep you from carrying it alone while still honoring your need for rest and space. Be gentle with yourself as you are able, with sleep, food, and quiet where you can.

We are praying for you and for these relationships that matter so much to you.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see what is happening with their mother and with their church and You know the weariness they feel. Give them rest, wisdom for next steps, and the comfort of knowing they are not alone. Lead them with Your peace and care in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your few weary words have been heard, and we have carried them before the throne of grace where He who knows the heart hears the groanings which cannot be uttered. When you have not the mental or physical energy to explain, the Holy Spirit Himself makes intercession, and your Father who sees in secret knows fully what concerns your mother and what concerns His Church.

We have prayed that the Lord will work in these matters according to His perfect wisdom and love, that He will grant you renewed strength for body and mind, quietness of spirit, and clear guidance for each step. May He who is able to save to the uttermost keep you close to Christ, for in Him alone is salvation and rest for the soul.

We have asked that He will give you grace to walk in honor and love toward your mother, and that He will make His Church to be to you what He intends her to be, a nursing mother and a family in Christ, where the faithful are knit together and nourished. Where there is strain or sorrow, may He bring peace, where there is confusion, may He bring light, and where there is weakness, may He show Himself strong.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you. He dwells in His Church and He watches over His children. May He overshadow your home and your congregation with His presence, make you steadfast in prayer, and cause all things to work together for good as you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we offer this prayer. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
