Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me about some concerns I have about the church I go to. Please also pray for me about spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was a child using people at church to target me. Thank you.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer, lifting these heavy burdens before the Lord. The concerns you carry about your church and the spiritual warfare you’ve endured are not to be taken lightly. We know the enemy seeks to divide, discourage, and distract God’s people from the unity and truth found in Christ. But we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you’ve faced, even from within the church. It grieves us deeply that those who should have been vessels of God’s love and protection instead became tools of the enemy. The Bible warns us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet even in this, we are not without hope. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the name of Jesus. Every lie, every scheme, every generational curse, and every spirit of division or accusation—we command it to flee now in Jesus’ mighty name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for discernment and wisdom regarding your church. Not all who gather in a building called "church" walk in the fullness of God’s truth or love. Jesus Himself warned that wolves would come in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15). We encourage you to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) and to hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21). If there are areas where your church has strayed from biblical truth—whether in doctrine, leadership, or practice—we pray for clarity and courage to address it with grace and truth, or to seek a body of believers where God’s Word is upheld without compromise.

But let us also remind you that the church is not a building or an institution—it is the body of Christ, and you are a vital part of it. Even if you have been wounded by those within it, do not let the enemy isolate you. The Lord desires to heal your heart and restore your faith in His people. We pray for godly fellowship to surround you, for mentors who will speak life into you, and for a church home where you can grow in faith and serve with joy.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to mend every wound inflicted by spiritual warfare and the actions of others. Lord, we break every chain of generational oppression, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy against them. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by Your Holy Spirit. Father, give them discernment to recognize truth from deception and courage to stand firm in Your Word. Surround them with Your angels and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Restore their faith in Your church, Lord, and lead them to a community where they can thrive in You. We ask for wisdom for their church leaders, that they would repent of any ungodly practices and align themselves with Your will. May Your light expose darkness, and may Your love cast out all fear. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The battles you’ve faced are real, but so is the victory we have in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Press into His presence, and let His Word be the lamp to your feet and the light to your path (Psalm 119:105). If you have not already, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and your greatest weapon against the lies of the enemy. The Lord is your strength—lean on Him.

We're right here with you, praying for your church concerns and the spiritual warfare you've faced. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always with you. We claim His promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're asking for God's wisdom to guide you, His healing to mend your wounds, and His strength to empower you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking. You're not alone, and God's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
