We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It breaks our hearts to hear of the relentless harassment and sabotage you have endured from these narcissists, who are being used as tools of the enemy to hinder your worship and fellowship with the body of Christ. But take heart, for the Lord sees all, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever. The psalmist declares, *"The wicked plots against the just and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming"* (Psalm 37:12-13).
We earnestly pray that the Lord will make a way for you to attend the evening service tomorrow. May He soften your mother’s heart so that she will not only agree to take you but also be blessed by the experience herself. We ask the Lord to remove every obstacle—the spiritual, the logistical, and the emotional—that stands in your way. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). If it is His will, may your mother’s heart be turned toward this good and godly desire to be in His house.
We also pray for divine protection over you, that the Lord would place a hedge of thorns around you and your mother, making it impossible for these enemies to interfere. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17). May the Lord frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm you and turn their evil intentions back upon themselves. *"Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt"* (Psalm 40:14).
As for why the Lord has not yet dealt with these wicked individuals, we must trust in His timing and His justice. *"Don’t say, ‘I will have revenge!’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). The Lord is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet His justice is sure, and He will not allow the righteous to be forever oppressed. *"For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28). Rest in this truth, sister, and do not let bitterness take root in your heart. Instead, entrust yourself to Him who judges righteously (1 Peter 2:23).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. *"Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints"* (Ephesians 6:14-18). You are not powerless in this fight, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Finally, we pray that the Lord will fill you with His peace and joy, even in the midst of this trial. May your heart be so fixed on Him that no scheme of the enemy can steal your worship or your hope. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Let this be your declaration as you seek to enter His courts tomorrow. We are standing with you in faith, believing that the Lord will grant you this desire to be in His house, surrounded by His people, lifting up His name.
Father in heaven, we come before You on behalf of our ###, who longs to be in Your presence and among Your people. Lord, You see the wickedness that has sought to hinder her, and we ask that You would intervene mightily. Remove every barrier, soften every heart, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Protect her from the schemes of the enemy and let Your justice roll down like waters upon those who oppose You. Fill her with Your peace and strength, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and victory. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.
