We join you in praying for your children's safety and spiritual growth. Let's come together in agreement, for the Lord said, Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. Matthew 18:19-20 WEB.
Firstly, we commend your desire to see your children come to know and trust the Lord. It is important to remember that God has promised us, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31 WEB. We encourage you to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your children because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 WEB.
As you seek a home church, pray for discernment, for the Lord has promised us, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 WEB. Look for a church that teaches the Word of God faithfully and has a vibrant community of believers who can support and encourage your family. In everything you do, be deliberate about setting a godly example, for you are your children's living Bible. They should see Christ in you, not only on Sundays but throughout the week.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up this parent and their children. Lord, you know the hearts of these young ones; we ask that you draw them to yourself, that they may know you and trust in you. Give this parent wisdom and guidance on how to inspire and nurture their children's faith. Help them find a church home where your Word is taught with passion and conviction, a place where their children will feel welcomed and inspired to grow in their faith.
We pray for their safety and protection, Lord. Surround them with your angels, and let no harm come near them. We claim your promises over their lives, knowing that you have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In your prayer, you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, for the scripture said And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. The name of Jesus is powerful, and we encourage you to use it boldly in your prayers. If you have not already, consider studying the Bible to learn more about Jesus and His work on the cross. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 WEB. If you have any questions about this, we would be delighted to discuss it further.
