We hear your pain, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free. What you have endured is not of God—it is spiritual abuse, manipulation, and wickedness masquerading as "church." The Word of God warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works." What you experienced was not the true Church, which is the body of Christ, but a counterfeit that operates under the influence of darkness.
We rebuke the harassment you are still facing. The enemy seeks to keep you in bondage through fear, but we declare that you are not subject to his schemes. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We take authority in the name of Jesus over every spirit of intimidation, fear, and torment sent your way. We command every assignment of the enemy against you to be dismantled and every harassing individual to be stopped in their tracks. You are not their prey—you are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Your struggle with faith is understandable, but we encourage you not to let the actions of wicked people distort your view of God. The abuse you suffered was not His will, nor does it reflect His character. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." The enemy wants you to blame God, but we urge you to bring your pain to Him. He is not the author of confusion or abuse—He is the God of truth, love, and restoration.
We also pray for the complete removal of every false teaching and lie that was planted in your mind. The enemy sows deception to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that every false doctrine, every twisted scripture, and every ungodly stronghold be uprooted from your mind and spirit. Romans 12:2 says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." We pray that your mind be renewed by the truth of God’s Word and that you would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who has been deeply wounded by the hands of those who claimed to represent You but instead served the enemy. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to cover every wound, every memory, and every place of pain. We declare that You are the God who heals, the God who restores, and the God who redeems. We ask that You would break every chain of harassment, intimidation, and fear that the enemy has tried to wrap around them. Let every assignment of the enemy against them be nullified, and let every harassing spirit be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for the complete cleansing of their mind and spirit from every false teaching and lie. Let Your truth wash over them like a river, removing every trace of deception. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may know You as You truly are—a God of love, justice, and mercy. Restore their faith, Lord, and let their relationship with You be renewed and strengthened. Help them to see that You are not like the abusers—they do not reflect Your heart. You are a Father who loves unconditionally, who defends the oppressed, and who brings beauty from ashes.
We also pray for the exposure and dismantling of the evil "church" that has caused so much harm. Let their deeds be brought to light, and let them be held accountable for the damage they have done. We ask that You would bring justice, Lord, not out of vengeance, but so that Your name may be glorified and others may be protected from their deception.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would surround our brother/sister with godly community—believers who will speak truth, offer support, and walk alongside them in their healing journey. Let them know they are not alone, and let them experience Your love in tangible ways. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will complete the good work You have begun in them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
You are not alone in this battle. The enemy may have sought to destroy your faith, but God is able to turn your pain into purpose. We encourage you to seek out a healthy, Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and loved in truth. Surround yourself with people who will remind you of who God truly is—not a taskmaster, but a loving Father. If you need help finding resources or biblical counseling, we are here to support you. Your healing is possible, and your future is secure in Christ. The God of all comfort is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
