Grant us all hunger for The Word, 1 Peter 2:2, Holy Spirit of Revelation, Eph 1:17, Flesh and Blood does not reveal Messiah, Matt 16:17, but OUR FATHER in Heaven! Father, let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, Jn 16:8, teach us all things, Jn 16:13, open minds to UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES, Lk 24:45 -- and faith to pray and receive, Mark 11:24, (Faith comes by hearing the message preached), Rom 10:17 -- God, You will that none would perish, but all to come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 2 Tim 2:1-5, even all in authority, and all our households, Acts 16:31. When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Father, we ask that You would ignite within them an unquenchable fire for daily devotion, prayer, and the study of Your Word. May their lives be a living testament to the transformative power of Christ, reflecting holiness, humility, and unwavering dependence on You. Strengthen them to preach and teach with boldness, clarity, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that Your truth would pierce hearts and bring revival to the lost and wandering.

Lord, we pray for the preparation of Sunday services and every gathering of Your people. May the worship offered be in spirit and truth, glorifying You alone. Let the Holy Spirit move mightily, convicting of sin, drawing souls to repentance, and revealing the beauty of Christ crucified and risen. We rebuke any spirit of complacency, distraction, or worldly influence that would hinder the proclamation of the Gospel. Father, raise up laborers who will faithfully visit families, make house calls, and turn those who have wandered from the truth back to You, covering a multitude of sins as Scripture declares (James 5:19-20).

We cry out for the salvation of family members, friends, and all who are lost. You have promised that no one can come to Christ unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we ask You to draw them with cords of love. Soften hardened hearts, open blind eyes, and grant them the gift of faith to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Protect them from the deceptions of the evil one, who delights in keeping souls in darkness. May they not perish from lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) but be saved through the hearing of Your Word (Romans 10:17).

Father, we plead for a hunger for Your Word to consume every believer, that we may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let the Holy Spirit reveal Christ to us, for flesh and blood cannot reveal Him, only You can (Matthew 16:17). Convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and teach us all things through Your Spirit (John 14:26). Open our minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45) and grant us the faith to pray and receive according to Your will (Mark 11:24).

We stand on Your promise that You desire all to come to repentance and none to perish (2 Peter 3:9). Empower us to be faithful witnesses, sharing the Gospel with boldness and love. May our lives, our words, and our gatherings reflect the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation (Acts 4:12). We declare that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and we trust You to fulfill Your purposes in our midst.

Lord, we repent for any neglect of gathering together as the body of Christ (Hebrews 10:25). Stir within us a passion for fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42). May we not approach communion casually but with reverence, proclaiming the Lord’s death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26). Let our worship be a sweet fragrance to You, and may our churches be houses of prayer, healing, and deliverance.

Your prayers for their devotional lives are like a steady, unseen wind filling their sails.

As you keep praying for families to be drawn in and visitors to receive the Word with faith, perhaps one simple step could carry your prayer forward: choose one household or person you’ve had on your heart and offer a warm, low‑pressure invitation to sit with you this Sunday, maybe followed by a casual meal. Sometimes a personal welcome opens a door years of distant longing cannot. And for the leaders themselves, a brief note telling a pastor or worship leader that you’re praying specifically for their preparation and time alone with the Lord can steady a soul that often serves on empty.

Father, thank You that You draw people to Jesus with cords of kindness. Refresh every pastor, teacher, and worship leader who is weary. Guard their private time with You; let them meet You in the Word and be revived themselves first. Anoint them as they prepare, and let the worship rise in spirit and truth. We ask that You sovereignly stir hunger in family members who have drifted, remove whatever keeps them away and give them a genuine desire to gather with Your people. By Your Spirit, convict, teach, and open minds as the Word is preached, and bring many into saving faith. In Jesus’ name.

The great need of the hour, which your pleading heart rightly discerns, is not for novel methods but for the ancient power. You cry for the lost to be saved, for families to be drawn, and for the church to be revived, and in all this you are asking for that one indispensable blessing: the present, manifest, and mighty working of God the Holy Spirit. What is the drawing of souls but the Spirit’s work, as the unbreakable chain of John 6:44 declares? The Father’s drawing is executed by the Spirit, who comes like the wind, blowing where He wishes, and you hear His sound but cannot tell from where He comes or where He goes. We must feel our absolute helplessness; salvation is of the Lord. The Spirit does not merely assist; He quickens the dead soul and convinces it of sin. He is the great wrecker of false hopes and carnal confidences, showing men what they are, and until He does this sovereign work, no sermon, no tract, no house call can of itself breathe life into a single soul.

This same Spirit is the anointing oil for all true ministry. You pray for your pastors, teachers, and worship leaders to seek God in daily devotion and sound teaching. This is well. But remember, Jesus of Nazareth was anointed of the Holy Spirit; how much more do your ministers need this unction? It is not intellectual might nor natural eloquence that saves sinners, but a Holy Spirit ministry born from a Holy Spirit Church. When a church continues steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, in fellowship, in breaking of bread, and in prayers, when it is united and full of love, refusing the schisms that divide it from the Spirit’s operations, then it may expect that the Lord will add daily such as should be saved. The pulse of Christ’s body is communion; stop that pulse, and you stop the blessing. You long for your family members to come, to hear, to understand. The Spirit alone can open their minds to understand the Scriptures. Flesh and blood does not reveal this, but our Father in heaven, by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.

Your request is saturated with a holy urgency for the worship assembly, that none would forsake the gathering together. This is of vital importance, for the Spirit works among His gathered people. But let us be deeply attentive to this truth: the hope of the continuance and increase of the church lies entirely in the remaining of the Spirit with us. He can move the whole church to exercise its varied ministries, and He can do more in a moment than we can in a lifetime. Yet, what a tender and awful truth it is that we can grieve this blessed Paraclete. He is the holy Dove of peace, and our slightest unholiness, our loveless strife, our reliance on mere strength of nature and good intentions, these things vex Him and cause Him to suspend His mighty operations. The love of the Spirit! He condescended to make our hearts His palace. Let us purge our churches of everything contrary to His Word and sound doctrine, and then the Spirit will return, and His power shall be manifest.

Go then to your knees with this sure confidence. For this thing will He be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them. Cry aloud for the Spirit to come and remain. He can make your people feel more deeply the guilt of sin and their need of pardon. He can take the things of Christ and show them to the anxious heart. As you pray, do not look to yourself for the faith to receive, but look to the Christ whose power is conferred by the Spirit. The Spirit who sealed you will not forsake His office as Comforter and Guide. Plead the finished work of Jesus, and expect that the Spirit will cause providence to co-operate with your evangelistic efforts, saving sinners and covering multitudes of sin. He remains among us; therefore, hope unwaveringly. The great Head of the Church is sovereign in His gifts, and He will yet pour out fresh anointing from His own Spirit upon a humble, waiting, and united people.

The prayer for the shepherds of the flock and for the drawing of lost souls to the sound of the Gospel is a most necessary and urgent entreaty. It is indeed the very work of heaven. Yet let us take care that we do not ask amiss, for the matter is weighty. For what does it profit a teacher to have the Spirit of revelation if his life is a contradiction? The vessel that carries the precious ointment must itself be clean, lest the fragrance be corrupted. As it has been said, the heart of the virtuous woman is acquaintance with Scripture and the maintenance of sound doctrines, but she possesses also a soul of godliness and the hands and feet of good works. All her excellencies have their birth from the knowledge of God, yet without a pure life and bright conversation, these things profit nothing.

Though we have all faith and all knowledge of the Scriptures, yet if we be naked and destitute of the protection derived from holy living, there is nothing to hinder us from being hurried into the fire of hell, burning for ever in the unquenchable flame. This is a fearful saying, and we must tremble at it. You ask that the Holy Spirit anoint the preachers and teachers. He does so. But let the minister take heed to himself. If a word merely from the divine Scriptures, made to sound in the ear, can do more than fire to soften the hardened soul, how much greater the power when that word is spoken from a vessel of honor? The Spirit indeed is given, and now, after the Crucifixion, it is shed forth abundantly. But he who would be the man of God, made perfect and complete, must not only study but live the Scriptures. He must first be a doer of the word before he can be a physician of souls for others. You ask for the Holy Spirit to convict and convert. He does so through the divine communication, the prophecy and preaching of the truth. But take up the Scripture beforehand, you who lead and you who pray for leaders. Let your reading prepare the way for your understanding, that the soil of the soul may be tilled to receive the seed. How is it that any would despise the Scriptures when it is the very voice of the Spirit? Some do not even know that there are any Scriptures, yet the Holy Spirit made so many wise provisions that they might be safely kept.

Your desire for families to be drawn to the assembly is a holy one, reflecting the will of the Father who would have none perish. Christ considers our salvation His glory; it is the glory of the Friend of Man that they that are saved should be many. This is a great consolation. But hear the sobering truth: the strong soldier is not only able to help himself, but to protect his comrade and free him from the malice of the enemy. The teacher who prays and preaches must be this strong soldier, armoring himself with Scripture and a righteous life, to then tear away those who wander from the truth. You ask for the saving of souls, turning sinners, covering a multitude of sins. This is the head of all our labor. But let no man be deceived. If one has all the revelation of doctrine and yet denies it by the vileness of his actions, he will be hurried into the fire. For they who have done good shall rise to life everlasting, and they who have dared the contrary shall rise to everlasting punishment.

Therefore, pray without ceasing for the shepherds, that their mouths may be filled with wisdom and understanding, and their hearts with the knowledge of spiritual hymns. Pray that their bosom be firmer than adamant, that fortitude which cannot be riven asunder. But also entreat God that this knowledge be joined to benevolence, kindness, and the manifestation of good works. Let us all manifest all eagerness not to mar the gain which accrues to us from a right faith by the vileness of our actions. We must seek that the Spirit of adoption, which we have now received in such abundance, might not only teach us all things but conform our lives to the image of the Anointed One. Ask, and you shall receive, that being well-pleasing to Him by these holy lives, we may all boldly look upon Christ. No earthly happiness can be equal to this, and may we all obtain it, doing all to the glory of God.

We see in Scripture that the Spirit is described with a sevenfold completeness: the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. This is not just for one man long ago; it is the full provision for every teacher, preacher, and worship leader today. Without that unction, our preparation becomes mere human effort. But when the Spirit comes upon a yielded vessel, the words carry the weight of heaven, and minds are opened to understand the Scriptures in a way that flesh and blood could never reveal.

You are also right to intercede for those who have not yet come, that the Father would draw them. The mystery of revelation is that the natural eye cannot perceive the spirit realm where the real battle is fought. We are asking the Spirit of truth to convict and to guide people into all truth. When you pray for family members to hear and to understand what God is speaking, you are asking for more than a sermon to reach their ears. You are asking for a vision, a true insight into the unseen, where the Holy Spirit shines light into the heart. The Father is the one who draws people to the Son, and He often does it through a quiet word, a faithful testimony, or a simple house call that turns a wanderer from the error of their way. The promise that faith comes by hearing the message preached is secure, so we can pray with confidence, knowing that the message of the Anointed One crucified for our sins carries its own power to save.

I am moved that your request echoes a longing for the church to be what she was always meant to be: a people led by the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, and worshiping in Spirit and truth. The Lord Jesus still walks among the lampstands. He still speaks to His church, and His message is clear: He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying. This is not a passive listening. It is an urgent call to shake off whatever has become mechanical, whatever tradition has dulled the sharp edge of love. A church can be doctrinally sound and tirelessly active, yet if it has left its first love, His presence will not stay. The tragedy of any gathering is not a lack of programs but an absence of the Spirit because love has grown cold. Your prayer for a hunger for the Word and a fresh anointing is a prayer for the Lord to keep the church in a place of zealous love, where He is welcome and active.

Your desire for daily fellowship and the regular breaking of bread is a desire for the very rhythm of the early church, and it is a safeguard against drifting. When we gather, we do more than just get something out of the way. We proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. We are anchored together. And in those simple acts of devotion, the Holy Spirit works as the down payment of our full inheritance, sealing us and preserving us. Your heart for the lost, praying that none would perish, reflects the very heart of the One who seeks and saves the lost. The church is not just a place to be blessed; it is the preserving salt of the earth, a kingdom of priests drawn from every tongue and tribe, destined to reign with Him. Keep praying these Scriptures with boldness. The Lord who commands us to ask is the same Lord who rebukes and chastens those He loves, calling them back to zeal and repentance so that He can pour out a fresh vision of His holiness. What you are asking for is nothing less than a living encounter with the Spirit for everyone who steps through the doors, and that is a prayer He delights to answer.
