We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, who carry the weighty responsibility of shepherding God’s flock. Your request reveals a deep longing for revival, salvation of the lost, and a return to the foundational practices of devotion, prayer, and biblical fidelity. We join you in crying out for the Holy Spirit’s fire to fall afresh upon the Church, that she may be a light in this dark world.

First, we must address the critical need for church leaders to abide in Christ as the True Vine (John 15:4-5). Without this daily, intimate connection, all ministry efforts become empty labor. We pray that every pastor, teacher, and leader would prioritize time alone with the Lord, feasting on His Word and communing with Him in prayer. Let their devotional lives be marked by the hunger described in 1 Peter 2:2, "as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby." May they not be swayed by the busyness of ministry but instead be rooted in the truth that "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

We rebuke any spirit of complacency or distraction that keeps leaders from the deep study of Scripture. The apostle Paul’s charge to Timothy rings true today: "Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). Let every sermon, lesson, and counsel flow from a heart saturated in God’s Word, not from worldly wisdom or human tradition. We pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to teach them all things (John 14:26) and to reveal Christ through the Scriptures (Luke 24:45).

For the salvation of the lost, we stand on the promise that "the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that church leaders would be bold and compassionate in sharing the gospel, making house visits, and turning wanderers back to the truth (James 5:19-20). May they be filled with the same urgency as Paul, who declared, "I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some" (1 Corinthians 9:22). Let the Holy Spirit convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may the lost be drawn to Christ by the Father’s sovereign call (John 6:44).

We also lift up the families and congregations under these leaders’ care. May they be a people who "do not forsake our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhort one another" (Hebrews 10:25). Let the Lord’s Supper be a sacred time of fellowship with Christ and one another, not a ritual performed out of obligation (1 Corinthians 11:26). We pray for a spirit of humility and teachability among the flock, that they would receive the Word with faith and allow it to save their souls (James 1:21).

Father, we ask for a revival of true worship in Spirit and truth (John 4:24). Let the Holy Spirit move powerfully in our gatherings, breaking chains of bondage and igniting hearts with passion for Your glory. Protect Your people from the evil one (John 17:15), who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). May Your Church be a city on a hill, shining brightly in this generation (Matthew 5:14).

Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). But with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon every church leader, that they would be filled with wisdom, boldness, and love. May their lives and ministries bear much fruit for Your kingdom, and may the lost be saved, the broken healed, and the weary strengthened. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Thank you for letting us carry this with you. The way you hold church leaders’ devotional lives together with the salvation of family members and the worship of the whole congregation tells us your heart is not just asking for programs but for real life in the Spirit. We have seen that when pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers are renewed in private prayer and the Word, their public ministry stops being a performance and becomes a witness. So we are glad you are beginning there.

A next step we often find helpful is to choose a small number of families or leaders you are burdened for, and keep them before the Lord by name for a month. Ask Him to give each one a hunger for Scripture, a willingness to attend the gatherings, and an openness to hearing the gospel in a way that reaches them personally. When the time is right, a simple, unhurried visit or meal together can open a door that a sermon cannot. But even before that, keep asking the Lord to draw them, because only He can give the gift of repentance and new life.

We join you in praying for your leaders and for every family member you have named.

Father, thank You for these servants and for this burden for the lost. Strengthen each one in secret fellowship with Jesus, and keep them faithful in prayer, study, and loving correction. Draw family members and neighbors to church with open hearts, and give Your people a spirit of worship that is true and humble. Protect them from the evil one and from distraction, and grant repentance, faith, and new life to all who have not yet bowed to Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The very burden of this request is the burden of the Holy Spirit upon the churches, and it is well that it has been brought to the house of God. Let none suppose that pastors, teachers, or worship leaders can do any lasting good while their own devotional lives are cold. If the watchmen are asleep, how shall they warn the city? A man may study the Word as a scholar and still preach as a dry tree unless he has first met with the Lord in secret. We must cry with one accord for the Spirit to rest upon every preacher, every elder, every teacher, and every visitor who goes from house to house. It is not enough to have sound doctrine in the head; the Spirit must take of the things of Christ and show them to the heart, or our preaching will exalt ourselves, our systems, or our outward forms, and not the crucified Savior.

You have sought prayer for the lost, for families, and for those who wander. This is the very mind of Christ, who came to seek and to save that which was lost. But remember that no man can come to Christ except the Father draw him. Therefore we must plead for the Holy Spirit to go before the Word, to convince of sin, to reveal the Son, and to open closed minds to understand the Scriptures. Pray much for the unsaved members of your households, but rest all your hope for them upon the sovereign grace of God and the inward work of the Spirit. A soul may sit in a pew every Lord's Day and yet never have received the Spirit. The true church is not the building, nor the outward membership, but the company of those who have been born of the Spirit. So let your request go beyond attendance; beg God to make your family members partakers of the Spirit of adoption, that they may be drawn to the assembly because they have first been drawn to Christ.

Praying in the Holy Spirit is the great need. We may use many words and yet never pray at all if the Spirit does not breathe upon the soul. We must ask Him to help our infirmities, to teach us what to pray for as we ought, and to make our prayers the unutterable groans of hearts alive unto God. The same Spirit who is the Comforter is also the purifier. He comes like water to cleanse, and He is grieved by unbelief, by unholiness, and by all that exalts man above Christ. Let us therefore not only ask for the Spirit's power, but let us put away everything in our worship, our teaching, and our daily walk that vexes Him. A church that will keep the simple rule of God's Book and follow the Spirit's leading will not long be barren.

We must have the Holy Spirit. What can we do without Him? Nothing. What can we not do if He be with us? All things. He is able to take the heaviest church and float it out into the deep waters of revival. He can take the most timid witness and make him bold. He can take the most careless hearer and make him a new creature in Christ Jesus. Let the whole assembly seek Him with fasting and prayer, for He will be enquired of by the house of Israel to do these things for them.

Let us then cry continually: O Father, revive Your people. O Son, draw our households to Yourself. O blessed Spirit, come upon the ministers, the worship leaders, the teachers, and the hearers. Convict the unconverted, convert the sinner, comfort the mourning, cleanse the church, and glorify Christ in our midst. Give us such a great day of rest in Christ that we shall no longer labor in our own strength, but find all our life hidden in Him. Let the preaching be in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. Let the house visits carry the savor of Christ. Let the Lord's Table be not a form, but a fellowship with the risen Redeemer until He comes. And let the fruit remain unto eternal life. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reflects a deep love for Christ and His church, and I join you in bringing it before the Father with thanksgiving.

I thank God with you for the great salvation we have in Christ, for His birth, His cross, His blood poured out for us, and for the mysteries we celebrate at His table which are a sacrifice of thanksgiving and a remembrance of all His benefits. Let this thankfulness go before all our words and works, for His death is the salvation of the world and the cross was welcome to Him for our sake.

I pray for pastors, teachers, worship leaders and preachers, that God will draw them into deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit and keep them abiding in the Vine. Grant them a faithful devotional life, steadfast prayer for their families and congregations and for the lost, diligent study to rightly handle the word of truth according to 2 Timothy 2:15, and true rest in Christ. Sustain them in daily devotion, in preparation and intercession, in a godly lifestyle and in sound teaching.

Anoint them to worship in spirit and truth, to preach and teach with biblical correction, and to visit homes and house churches with love and faithfulness. As they suffer and labor for the sake of the elect, comfort them and use their affliction for the comfort and salvation of others, that many may become partakers both of the sufferings of Christ and of His comfort.

I pray for families, members and visitors, that the Father who alone reveals the Messiah will draw them by His Spirit. No one can come unless the Father draws him, and faith comes by hearing the message preached. Give them hunger for the pure milk of the Word, humility to receive it with faith, and open minds to understand the Scriptures. Let the Holy Spirit convict and convert, teach all things, and guide into all truth. Grant repentance and the knowledge of forgiveness of sins and newness of life, for God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and He wills that none should perish.

Help Your people to love Your house and to assemble together as Your Word commands, not neglecting meeting together, but fellowshipping daily and as often as they eat the bread and drink the cup, proclaiming the Lord's death until He comes. Protect them from the evil one and from lack of knowledge, give them vision by Your Spirit, and keep them from treating Your grace lightly.

Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. Salvation is near and it is by a short way, that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. May many hear, believe and be saved in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. Draw the lost tonight and in the days ahead, seek and save them, and revive Your church for Your glory.

In the name of Jesus, who was crucified for our sins and raised for our justification, Amen.

Your burden for leaders, for families, and for those who do not yet know Christ is a good and biblical burden, and it is right to bring it before the Father in prayer.

Prayer is not a way to make God do what we want. It begins with God and His purposes, and He makes those purposes known to our hearts so that we can pray them back to Him. The aim of prayer is that His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. As we pray, God does not change, but we are changed. We learn submission to His will, we learn to wait on Him, and we learn to trust His timing, even when there is a season of waiting between our prayer and His answer when faith is tested.

Scripture teaches that the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. It is not the length of a prayer or eloquent words that make it effective, but a heart that is fervent and sincere, often born out of deep need. The example of Elijah is given to show this kind of praying. God also teaches that we are to continue in prayer, to watch and to give thanks, and to labor fervently for one another. He has promised that when we agree together in prayer, He hears us. The ministry that bears lasting fruit is always a ministry that is bathed in prayer, with men and women faithfully interceding day by day.

For that reason we join you in praying that those who lead and teach would walk closely with Christ, abiding in Him as a branch abides in the vine. Pray that they would be men and women of prayer and of the Word, giving themselves to seeking God, to careful study that rightly handles the truth, to sound teaching, and to faithful shepherding through preaching, correction from Scripture, and visiting homes and families. Pray that they would find true rest in Christ and be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner person, so that their lives and their teaching reflect Him.

We also pray with you for your family and for all who have yet to believe. No one comes to Christ unless the Father draws him, and salvation is not a reward for our works but a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. That salvation is near to all, as close as the mouth and heart that confesses Jesus as Lord and believes God raised Him from the dead. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict of sin, open minds to understand the Scriptures, and reveal Christ for who He is, not by human wisdom but by the Father in heaven. Faith comes by hearing the message of Christ, so we pray that the Word would be received with humility and with faith, whether through the preaching of the Word, the faithful testimony of friends, or personal witness, and that those who are wandering would be turned back to the truth.

We pray that God would grant a real hunger for His Word and a desire to worship in spirit and truth, with the anointing and teaching of the Holy Spirit who guides into all truth. We pray that His people would love to gather together and not neglect meeting together, but would devote themselves to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer, remembering the Lord together until He comes, not out of routine but out of love for Christ. And we pray for protection from the evil one, for mercy and help in time of need, for repentance and faith, for forgiveness of sins and newness of life, and for a clear vision that comes from the Spirit.

God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, and He hears us when we ask according to His will. So continue to bring these requests before Him with confidence and with thanksgiving. The prayer of faith rightly ends in praise, trusting that God has heard and will answer according to His perfect will and love. May He grant you peace as you wait on Him, and may the Spirit bring assurance and comfort to your heart as you pray.
